“Amazing stay, highly recommend!”

Worst place I’ve ever been so bad that I do not think I will be returning to Guatemala in a while. The property manager has to be the most disrespectful and disgusting person I’ve met. We paid for airport service and because his driver was an hour late, and I questioned where he was he refused to take us because we were rushing him and when we notified the manager and asked for a refund he refused to give us a refund as well. On top of the place was dirty with stains. On and off hot water and sometimes no water at all. DO NOT COME HERE. Save your money please

Staff were super friendly and access to the property was so easy. Great coffee and juice bar at your doorstep and a short 2 minute walk to the lake with stunning views of the volcanoes. Loved the yoga classes and gardens. The room was clean and well serviced with everything we could need, the kitchen was great for making our dinner and it all worked seamlessly. Thank you so much Sarnai, cant wait to come back.

Room was lovely and well-equipped. Floor-to-ceiling windows were both a blessing and a curse. Easy to communicate via WhatsApp.

Great location and communication with the host. Unfortunately, the construction quality was poor, which allowed a lot of outside noise. There was also on-site construction starting in the morning that disrupted our sleep. Additionally, the curtains let in a lot of light, with no option to fully darken the room.

Great service and very nice apartment, right in the center of San Marcos. Axwell was amazing, he escorted us to our apartment and helped with our luggage and was available through text before and during our arrival to help with questions and to coordinating our stay. Definitely recommend to book at Sarnai!

I stayed at four places in Guatemala. Sarnai was, without doubt, the best one. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The availability of purified water in the kitchen and a full kitchen was great. Hosts were great also .

Beautiful place to stay in San Marcos and extremely walkable to everything including the docks. A little difficult when navigating with luggage but everything else was a breeze.

Condo was clean and it was great to have drinkable water on tap. It’s a very bright unit with windows all around so you’ll be up early with the daylight. The shower was nice and the property felt very safe.

Sarnai is amazing! From arrival to departure. Easy and smooth. Everything looked clean, cozy, comfortable and provided everything that is needed. It is a great stay in such a beautiful part of the world. It is evident the host has put attention, care and awareness into this place. Everything is great from the vibes, views to the surrounding nature. I particularly like that each room has it's "own name". Sarnai is highly, highly recommended, one of my new favorite places.

Absolutely loved staying here. Everything in the room was perfect, from the bed, bathroom, and even having filtered water. The large windows with the natural light really made it feel so amazing. I will be staying here next time I come to visit. Oh and having the amazing rooftop and doing a yoga class up there was just incredible.

The roof is amazing and would recommend taking a yoga class! However the communication could be better, the welcome guide says you can store you bags early, but they didn’t provide us a code to enter the property until about 2 hours before our check in at 2pm. We arrived at about 9am, so we had to wait outside for someone to leave in order to get into where we could store our bags until check in. And then when check in arrived at 2pm, they still hadn’t let us know which room we were in. and it was frustrating. Also the sink in the bathroom had a terrible smell. But all this aside san marcos is an amazing place we had a great stay!

This stunning property on the Lake is a slice of paradise. Surrounded by volcanoes and lush gardens, the views are breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere is unmatched. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, blending comfort with local charm. The private dock and activities like kayaking made our stay unforgettable. The delicious Guatemalan cuisine were exceptional. It’s the perfect retreat for relaxation and reconnecting with nature. Can’t wait to return!

Very bad locación

Amazing place, best stay I had in all of Guatemala, highly recommend! A 10/10 experience
