Everything about this hotel was great!!!

Bad location, hot water took forever and wasn’t very hot. Hard pillows. Very loud all through the day and night.

Beware. This hotel has no heat. And the windows are not insulated. In winter when nights are below freezing, this is extremely unpleasant. The view was amazing, but comfort is more important. Also, we paid more for a room with one double and one twin bed, but the room we received only had two twin beds. We were too tired to argue, but we didn't get what we paid for. I would never recommend or stay here again.

El lugar está en un área muy concurrida por locales y no tan bonita, lo cual no puedes ver en la descripción. Si puedes movilizarte caminando, pero el área no es muy bonita. La propiedad está descuidada, por ejemplo había moho en el techo del baño. No te dan accesorios básicos como una toalla de baño. El desayuno básico pero bien. Hay calentadores disponibles lo cual es un punto a favor porque hace mucho frío en la noche. Cuando salimos a los tour en la madrugada no había nadie en la recepción.

It was a good hotel and a friendly staff in a good location. The only criticism that I have is that one day after the daily cleaning, the door to the room was left wide open until I returned 8 or 9 hours later. I will stay again if I am in cusco again.

Good hotel, good location. Staff lovely and helpful, welcome coca tea was nice. Beds warm and cleaned everyday. Hot water unreliable, slightly noisy hotel - can hear everything happening in courtyard. Breakfast wasn't too impressive.

The room/price was ideal for an extended stay in Cusco. It is located near San Pedro Market, which I returned to often. And the walk to exchange money on Avenida El Sol and enjoy Plaza de Armas is only a few blocks away. Just past the Plaza de Armas is the lovely neighborhood of San Blas. The staff here was very helpful and kind, especially considering I do not speak Spanish. If it gets cold they have a heater for your room for a small nightly fee. Breakfast was simple and nurioushing. Bread, cheese, avocado, eggs and fruit, coffee and tea. You can definitely spend a lot of money on hotels and food in Cusco if you'd like, but this hotel was perfect for me. A solo, female traveler on a budget.

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were clean and the the staff, and especially Janeth, were so helpful and kind! Would definitely recommend staying here!

I stayed here for 5 days. It’s a good budget hotel, room was clean and quite spacious. Breakfast was included. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Convenient location walking distance from San Pedro market and shopping area. The city centre is just about a 10 min walk which is pretty chill. All in all great place for a budget stay.

Only one night had hot water to shower on my 3 nights stayed

It was fine, staff was nice the breakfast was surprisingly good as was the coffee. Showers weren't the best but the beds were good, the room was clean. Its dated but has lots of character. Very close to the hustle bustle of the city and only a few blocks from the center, all and all we were happy with our stay

It’s a 2-star hotel so expect that. Very loud. Bring ear plugs. I have no idea what goes on at 4:30am. Wedging some cardboard in the door helps with the constant rattling. Staff are nice and helpful. Would be nice to have extra towels because floor is slippery and there’s no carpet. Convenient location. Lots of city hustle. Could do without the shower mildew.

Overall the stay was ok. The staff was very friendly and helped me with heating my own food.

Not to many options in breakfast and even when it was still 1 hr for breakfast they did not refill the empty tray

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ At the heart of Cusco, Hotel del Sur is a gem. The staff was friendly, attentive and makes you feel like family. The rooms were clean and cozy, breakfast fresh and healthy. The location was perfect — close to the San Pedro market and walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. Loved the indoor terrace for relaxing after a day of exploring. Thank you Almicar and Carmen to make my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!
