The parking was good..The room and especially the bathroom were excellent.

Lovely rooms in a character building, owner and his sons were so helpful and friendly. Very clean and updated rooms. Recommended restaurants in area were excellent. Parking available and close to harbour and shops. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the little balcony where we were able to sit out in the evening and listen to live music from the next street

We were unpleasantly surprised when we arrived before the end of office hours and the door was locked, especially since we had called to say we were on our way. We had to call the hotel and wait for the young man who finally checked us in with a comment about being sorry if we had to wait a long time. He showed us to our room and seemed eager to leave. He didn't exactly make us feel welcome. The coffee area downstairs smelled very musty, and the carpet was worn. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed, a fridge and microwave, a closet, and a bench that we assumed was for luggage. The bathroom was small with a large door that didn't latch, as the wood seemed swollen. The toilet seat was loose and we had to be careful not to fall. The towels were thin and had worn edges. They are ready to be retired. On a more positive note, the location was perfect. The property is just steps from the wharf and many restaurants and shops. With just a little fixing up, this can be a top notch property.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, good complimentary coffee from the machine in the morning, no noise from the street overnight but some disturbance from guests in neighboring room who came back in late and the walls are thin. But apart from that, all was well.

Convenient location. Restaurants and shops nearby. Easy parking. Only stayed one night but would return if in the area again. Great we could stay just one night.

Location was great, but the property itself had some issues. It was very noisy, thin walls. The fire alarm went off at 7am due to steam from the shower and the bed was really uncomfortable. Bathroom is really really tight. Otherwise clean and had what you needed. Just wouldn’t stay more than 1-2 nights.

The hotel was correct, but a ant in the bath and a wasp in the bed was not a good surprise

Nice and clean

The Europa Inn is perfectly located downtown St Andrews. You’re a short 5 min walk from water street.

Our room was small but newly renovated. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was tiny. It looked like the inn is undergoing badly needed renovations.

Close to restaurants and wharf. Clean room. No food service on site but lots of choice close by.

Would have preferred being checked in by an adult.

Was in a great area. Big room. At first, we were given a room we did not book, booked a king suite with balcony. Within a few minutes of entering room, the manager realized the error and notified us and put us in correct room, but it wss not ready. Had to wait an additiomal half hour or so for housekeeping to clean the room

It was odd that akid, child of owners checked us in and was too young to answer questions about barbers and and places to grab a drink because he was a kid.
