Overall the Sooke Harbour House had a feel of a luxury boutique hotel/resort. It was so enjoyable to stay on the property for sunset drinks on our room's deck, then a short walk to the dining room for an elegant meal either in the covered patio area or dining room. The bed was so comfortable with crisp sheets that it was hard to have to get up in the morning! But a nice stroll of the property and adjacent nature walk with a coffee and delicious pastry made in house from the attached coffee bar was a great way to start the day - followed up by yet another amazing meal for breakfast before we carried on on way. We will definitely be back for another stay in the fall when we can enjoy the room's fireplace while we watch the ocean's tide roll in and out. The staff were all so wonderful!

The property is right on the ocean and every room has a glorious view. You can also buy a log for your fireplace from the office. The bar was very nice and the food special was great. We happened to be there for the beer and burger for $20 night and it was excellent. We want to plan a trip back as we enjoyed it so much.

Great place but be prepared to drive everywhere you go. The only improvement I can think of is to make bikes available. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, a bit pricey.

This stay was all about the view. Gorgeous! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The room was really nice and unique. There was a small telescope which was interesting. The fresh baked goods were delicious. The fridge included pop which i thought was nice anf there was coffee and tea in the room. I was a little disappointed because I didn't get the room I thought i booked, but Im not sure who's mistake it was. However, I really enjoyed my stay.

Absolutely loved this place

Beautiful resort and lovely setting. Special thanks to the chef who made us a tuna burger and the lunch a little early to help our schedule. Great recommendations from staff ( especially Becky in the Cooper room!) we will be back!!!

Everything about our experience and stay at the Sooke Harbour House was fabulous. What a great spot! The restaurant and staff are outstanding and the room is perfect.

We had a beautiful large room with a great view of the Juan de Fuca Strait. The room was clean and well appointed. Modern technology is used to control various things in the room, such as lights and curtains. The staff at the hotel were quite friendly and more than accommodating. Upon arrival we were shown to our room and given a tour of the room and hotel by desk staff. Food and service at the restaurant was excellent. Reservations are recommended. I would certainly book at this property again if we returned to visit Sooke again.

Beautiful ocean facing room that exceeded our expectations. The photos do not do this place justice. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the place and it was fantastic.

We had a phenomenal experience at Sooke Harbour House. The room was lovely, the food was AMAZING, the view was second to none and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We will be going back!
