This place had very clean rooms nice staff and it's a real bargain for the price

Unfortunately what I thought were stains in the bathroom turned out to be dirt. Not just a little dirt, ground in over the entire bathroom floor. The hand towel i used to mop up the water that splashed out of the shower literally turned black. When I wiped water off the bathroom countertop i got dirt from the sink edge. Now horrified, I though, what if that stain on the toilet seat is not a stain? My answer was a resounding NO it is not a stain! The toilet did have a paper announcing "Sanitized". I am very doubtful someone even wiped the bathroom let alone sterilized it. After leaving a message for someone to come clean, house keeping did come. I was told to go speak with the manager who apologized profusely and was given two 5$ gift cards for Tim Hortons. I was informed that a staff member had been staying in that room and the regular cleaning staff had missed that room. I told her what i wanted was a credit for my room. She said she couldn't do that but would speak to the owner. I was offered a different room, but for personal reasons, moving my stuff did not appeal to me. My fault for not choosing the option of moving because my towel used to mop up water next morning was still not perfectly white after getting out of shower. I am not picky and I could accept left over tape on walls, missing baseboards, stains on carpet...I mean it's a college dorm room, but the uncleanness was absolutely unacceptable and the compensation offered was a joke!

Everything was good especially kitchen design

All good except the bed. It was like sleeping on uneven concrete. I trifolded the comforter and slept on that. Luckily it wasn't too cool in the night. I've also been told there's no AC...so, if you want a great experience, bring a travel mattress and a fan you can plug in. It's great other than that and everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Kitchen is great and clean

For an inexpensive stay while traveling it was perfect. Kitchen student lounge open for cooking, chilling. Clean very basic room, good bath towel in concrete stall. It is under construction with no signage. Reception behind residence hard to find. Young gal responsive once phone answered

Lovely place with wonderful staff

Safe, quite for a residence, local amenities near by very enthusiastic reception, facility tour, and access to common rooms like kitchen, rec room, and laundry room, drawbacks were: smallest room I’d ever payed to stay like approaching jail cell Sq ftg, doorm style layout matched that quite elegantly as well, carpet was apparently missed during cleaning left in sand. Just Ended up doing it myself with a vac from a near by janitor closet. Also no in room ac, so it was pretty hot. mattress was pretty terrible as well literally read hospital on it? But for a last minute reservation under 100$ tax in it wasn't atrocious overall, definitely a little uncomfortable though

This is a student hall of residence. The rooms are basic and Spartan. There is an en-suite bathroom and towels and shampoo are provided. No fridge, microwave or coffee maker in the room. A communal kitchen was available for use and there was some cookware available for use. Friendly and helpful staff. Slept comfortably in the single bed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful—check-in was smooth and easy. I just called the number provided, and they assisted me right away. I would definitely recommend this place, but just keep in mind that it has a few quirks. Overall, a solid stay with good service.
