The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Disappointed with the room as I had booked it over 4 months before our trip and did not get an ocean view…Expedia room was at the back facing a back grassed area and fence. Oh well , live and learn…next time I will call the hotel myself to book a room. Room was more expensive than an ocean view we had in Rocky Harbour a few nights prior.

The location was right on the water so the views were great. Our patio was private and had seating and a flower planter - so pretty. It was easy to find and there were stores and places to eat close by. We didn't eat at the hotel.

Ocean View Hotel was a great place to stay while visiting Rocky Harbour and Gros Morne National Park. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful ocean view. Waking up to the scenery each morning was a wonderful experience. The hotel is also conveniently located, making it easy to reach the park and other nearby attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made us feel at home. We had a very pleasant stay and would gladly choose Ocean View Hotel again on a future trip to the area.

Great location in Rocky Harbour. Easy walking to everything in town and they have their own restaurant and pub with local musicians. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was plentiful. Hotel and room very very clean but dated. The Wifi was sluggish and the TV reception was a bit fuzzy for some channels. Could be the local area. For checking maps and email it was fine but if you want to stream content, games or download etc. It is a challenge.

The place was very clean. Great little pub on site. Unfortunately there are paid events almost every night starting at 8. If you dont pay you dont stay even on the patio. A bit of a downfall. Patio access without having to attend the event would be good. Great view from the hotel

In general, it is not bad, but we found a hair on one towel.

Excellent place to stay, a bit pricey, and you have to walk alot to get to actual functions in pub. Everything is a cost. Cost 20 per person for kitchen party. Anchors away only book thru Bon Tours $+++. Food is very expensive. I understand everything is a cost to get there and I try to keep that in mind. But the staff go above and beyond to please and hep you, even in " family situations". I appreciate 🙏 ❤️ all that was done to make our time, bad weather ( cold, fog and rain) and all a true memory. A definite place to return to and consider.

This beautiful hotel right on the ocean in Rocky Harbour was a great find! The restaurant and the pub in the hotel serve great food! There's lots of great hiking trails in Gros Morne National Park close by. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful! We LOVED out stay here!

Nice and spacious room, very clean, conveniently located. Surprised to find no mini fridge/microwave in the room. For the size and quality of the hotel, I assumed that was a given. Definitely not a deal breaker though, I would have no concern with staying here again. Hotel restaurant was just okay, though that opinion is based only on eating breakfast there once.
