Everything was good

This hotel is undergoing major renovation. We didn't know it when we booked and the hammering never stopped until 7pm. The "Junior Suite" turned out to be a rather cramped, windowless room, but there was a king bed, as promised, good pillows and everythng was so new that the lights were still hanging out of the ceiling, waiting for fixtures. The owner is a pleasant guy who is rightfully proud of the changes they are making and he helped me a little with the price to compensate for the discomforts. Good breakfast and safe parking included. Easy walking to Centro. I recommend.

Room looked like new. They just remodeled the place!

The rooms were being remodeled. The hotel property is nice. There’s no AC and no elevator so you have to walk stairs to get to your room. They only give you one water bottle, one soap bar and a small shampoo bottle. There’s also a small dirt lot next to hotel for parking and it was pretty full most of the time. The staff was kind and polite. For a last minute hotel it was an ok stay.

Read my whole review. Our 1st room on the 4th level was bad. Door handle falling off, tv remote not able to turn off the tv. Night stand lamp missing the knob, could not turn on. We complained and the next day they moved us to a modernized room. That one was great. Breakfast was average. Staff very polite and attentive. Quaint building that is peaceful. Good part of town.

The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. I recommend it. HOTEL IS LOCATED 10 MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN GUANJUATO, IT HAS PARKING ON SITE, GOOD BREAKFAST, THE ROOMS ARE OK BUT THE BATHROOMS NEED UPDATING

Really enjoyed our stay here.. it is a convenient location, a short walk from the centre. We had a car and it was great to be able to easily park in their car park beside the hotel. All of the staff are very friendly, always helpful to share their knowledge of the town. The hotel itself is a very authentic traditional building.. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast areas is also very comfortable with a nice selection of mexican food or pancakes and fruit..

El hotel parecía estar en renovación, sin embargo eso no afectó nuestra estancia ni ocasionó ninguna incomodidad. La ubicación es buena, caminado 10 min al centro de la ciudad. El único detalle fue que el agua de la regadera y grifo olía un poco mal. Calidad/precio buena Desayuno bueno ***** servicio y estacionamiento

Considero buen espacio en la habitación, limpieza, solo detalles que podrían mejorar progresivamente como cerraduras de seguridad en las puertas, cajas de seguridad, el espacio de estacionamiento, la cerradura del baño no funciona bien, sin embargo esto no demerito mi sensación de que es un buen lugar. Los desayunos tienen buen sazón y en general bien el servicio del personal.

Buen desayuno, habitaciones limpias, aunque el estacionamiento un poco problemático para poder salir, aunque en esa ciudad se agradece el estacionamiento

Buena ubicacion, esta en remodelacion el estacionamiento es de tierra es incomodo deben considerar pavimentarlo, el bar se veia bonito pero no abre aun. el restaurante es bueno, tiene buen cafe. las habitaciones son tematicas tipo hacienda las camas un poco duras. es silencioso y bonito nadamas que si les hace falta un elevador los turistas como yo que vivimos a nivel del mar llegamos bien cansados a los pisos superiores cargando maletas.
