Great room

It was an amazing stay. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, with real care put into every detail. The materials, the layout, the atmosphere, all of it came together in a way that felt calm, intentional, and genuinely beautiful. You can tell this is a place built with love for design. Nothing felt random or overdone, just well chosen and well executed. The breakfast really stood out. It takes traditional Greek cuisine and elevates it in a way that feels both authentic and refined. Easily one of the highlights of the stay. There is a special energy to the hotel, especially knowing it is in its first year. It already feels like a place that will become very popular, and I would not be surprised if it becomes hard to get a room in the future. Very grateful to have experienced it so early.

Amazing and helpful staff

All staff were great. It is a beautiful hotel - extremely well constructed and expertly finished (been open for less than one year). The restaurant meals were superb - we were booked in for 2 nights and had both dinners there. Breakfast was equally good. Had a somewhat challenging issue with the room heat - even with that, I would not diminish the excellent rating for this hotel. Definitely recommend highly.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in around the world. It’s tucked away in an alley but the receptionist seemed to know I was wandering around looking for my hotel and led me right in. Gorgeous modern, minimalist rooms, incredibly friendly staff, and an overall wonderful experience. Check in was a breeze and the staff was warm and welcoming. The room was narrow but didn’t feel cramped at all. The downstairs has tons of natural light and open breeze, and the upstairs feels cozy without being claustrophobic. Linens and towels and furnishings were nicely appointed and luxurious. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and the food was absolutely wonderful. If I ever happen to come back to Crete, I won’t look anywhere else, Elysia will be the only place to stay.

Staff was one of the best. Great hospitality. High quality amenities and a very comfortable bed.

Immaculate hotel in the heart of old town Chania. The staff is professional, knowledgable, friendly and courteous. On our last evening the staff delivered a gorgeous desert to our room with compliments of the hotel. An elegant touch.

This property is such a hidden gem. The staff, the property and location is simply fantastic. I definitely will be staying here again in the future. This place should be sold out 100 percent of the time. Great end to our holiday vacation trip to Greece. 5 stars and more all around.

This hotel was really special (the online pictures do not capture how great the property is). We had the larger room for our family of 4 and it was really great. The staff was extremely attentive and the breakfast was lovely (an excessive amount of food and lattes were offered!!). They even offer to bring the breakfast to your room if you prefer. They directed me to a free public lot for parking which was about a 7 minute walk. We would absolutely stay here again.

A stunning and amazing hotel!! It exceeded all our expectations. We loved our room, the building, our breakfasts, the staff were lovely, very helpful with top customer service. Strongly recommend it for a short or long stay. It is centrally located in the Old Chania district, with shops, restaurants and the harbour around the corner. You will not be disappointed. Beautifully appointed in the perfect location - in the center of everything but very quiet in the room. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. On our first day we were going to miss breakfast, so they packed us to-go breakfasts. That is just one example of the many kind and helpful things they did to make our trip special.

Exceptional place, I mean wow!! From the beautiful lobby, modern rooms, amazing staff and the attached restaurant we cannot express how impressed we were with everything about our stay. Thank you so very much to this hotel! Oh and the beds were like a dream!

That was really amazing hotel. New hotel in the old town, best possible position. The hotel staff was very friendly and always available to share visit recommendations. We also had one of a kind hotel introduction including history of the place etc.

We had a truly memorable one-week stay at Elysia Boutique Hotel in Chania and can’t recommend it highly enough! This brand-new hotel combines modern, elegant design with the perfect location—right in the heart of Chania Old Town. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our very early check-in, which made a huge difference for us and our two small children after a long, early morning flight. We stayed in a spacious Junior Suite that felt both comfortable and safe for the kids, and it worked perfectly for our needs. We were even kindly offered an upgrade to their beautiful double room suites, but chose to stay in our original suite to avoid stairs with the little ones. The staff were incredibly understanding and responded to all our requests quickly and helpfully. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a well-curated menu that exceeded expectations. One of the most touching moments was when the hotel team surprised us with a birthday cake for my wife—it was a wonderful and thoughtful gesture that made our stay truly unforgettable. On the day of our early departure, they had thoughtfully prepared a generous takeaway breakfast for the whole family, which was much appreciated. Elysia Boutique Hotel is a gem with a bright future ahead. We would like to thank them and wish them all the best and would return in a heartbeat!
