Lovely hotel with excellent rooms. We had a disabled room (which I didn’t ask for) so we had a slightly odd and amended bathroom. The sink was very low. I don’t think the hotel is quite finished though. The only bar is the Fire Station which was very “towny” with a DJ playing the loudest dance music at 4pm on a Saturday. We didn’t stay for long. This is a v different ambience to other Gothams we’ve stayed in. Probably wouldn’t stay again as it looks like the hotel is aimed at a different clientele to me.

Great hotel with excellent staff. Did not want to leave! Definitely the best place we stayed on our weeks business tour of London. The Siren restaurant was fabulous and we had dinner and breakfast there. Front desk, location, room, quiet, all A +!

It was a nice hotel with good breakfast and attentive staff. We chose the hotel because it offered a twin room. This is what we specifically booked. I confirmed that again at reception however they still gave us a double room. They converted the bed to two singles for us but they must’ve been the narrowest beds I have ever seen. Apart from that it was a nice stay and the location is excellent.

A fantastic stay at the Hotel Gotham, Newcastle, there is so much detail into the room making a very comfortable stay. The staff were wonderful and really helpful throughout my stay. Would highly recommend!

This hotel was booked as a nice, relaxing stay for myself and my wife around a gig we were going to. The entire experience, from booking through to check out, was excellent.

Hotel is central to everything (shops, restaurants, theatre, bars etc) but hidden in a quiet street behind the theatre royal. The standard of rooms is excellent (lovely touches in each room makes you feel relaxed and cared for), we were also surprised at how quiet the rooms were. The breakfast was superb, with a wide range of quality food available. The staff are always well presented, friendly and approachable, helpful and knowledgable of both the hotel and the surrounding areas and events. Highly recommend- we will be back !

The whole experience was amazing from the room to the staff (especially Dan). This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in….definitely recommend it!
