One of the best services was a taxi driver recommended by the hotel. His name is Jaime Huaman. He spoke good English, took us on tours and was prompt and responsible for 4 separate trips. This recommendation by the hotel made a big difference in our visit.

Great place but it can be a tad noisy... Not bad though. I would stay again for sure

The service was outstanding and the breakfast was delicious. My only challenge was it was difficult for my cab driver to find (not the hotel's fault necessarily), and it was so noisy outside my room (again - not their fault, but something to know).

Our experience was far from optimal. Issues for travelers to consider include: 1) no vehicle access; you must carry your bags up stone streets and stairs. 2) unreliable hot water for the shower, no hot/warm water in the sink. 4) All drinking water is for purchase. 5) Payment terms are NOT clearly communicated (in contrast to what reception said). You must pay in cash -- soles or dollars -- unless your'e paying for 4 rooms, when you can use a credit card. 6) the website implies they provide airport transfers: what they do is book a taxi for you which you pay for. 7) It's very cold; the rooms have heaters and about 50 lbs of covers, but with an open air courtyard in a city that routinely goes down to low 40's at night, the common areas are not comfortable. 8) Make sure you don't get booked into their loft room in which you must go up and down a narrow spiral staircase to use the bathroom. They gave away the normal room we had booked (we booked three rooms) and this moldy room was what my niece had to stay in. This hotel went a long way to ruining our experience of Cusco. The staff tried, but they didn't have much to work with in this slipshod operation.

I noticed a functional website for this hotel and they said they included or could arrange tourist amenities. I called them and asked them if they had a taxi driver who could pick us up at the airport and drive us around the different tourist sites on our way to a different hotel in Ollaytantambo. The price was agreed via email, and Jaime pick us up at the airport and took us all over the archaeological sites. The hotel is your typical basic bed, bathroom, and towel. The stuff is very friendly and you can get a coca tea at any time.

Hotel lovely, homey, little spot to have quick access to the city square, many markets, even more restaurants. Takes a bit of a walk up coble stone street and steps (prep for MachuPicchu)to the top of the hill. The staff are exceptional, always available, helpful with tips and questions re any plans you may be making. Good brekkie to start day. We stayed 4 nights before going to MP, and then returned for 2 more nights, they will store baggage. It's a little rustic, but is B & B. We would definitely go back!

The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and to arrange transportation for us to the airport.

Pros: Cute hotel, great breakfast, relatively cheap. Cons: Staff barely speaks English, very noisy at night (bar with live music next door), room was freezing cold when we arrived and took a day to warm up.

Very friendly and helpful staff who allowed us to check in early. Convenient location but unfortunately next to 2 noisy club/bars, which made sleeping difficult. Maybe better during the week as we were there Friday and Saturday nights.

Hotel manager Roberto did not want to honor the airport taxi after describing it was included in the reservation. Also, Roberto charged our American Express a 6 percent fee for using the card after reservation was booked with Hotels.com. It was not necessary. Hotel personel was pleasant; although we experienced a poor quality of service through management. I would not stay there again in the future. I was offered better choices and services on my previous nights in Cuzco.

The hotel was in a great location, not far from the main square (albeit straight uphill). We had a problem in our room - the water boiler leaked above our room, causing water to run down the walls, but the staff sorted out the problem quickly and were really apologetic. They were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice and cosy, and we would certainly stay there again.

This hotel is wonderful. It's very small (and personal and the staff are friendly. It has a very Peruvian feel to the hotel and doesn't feel like a generic run of the mill hotel. It was very clean and the beds were very comfy. Shower in room was a little tricky to get the right mix of hot and cold, but we stayed in a different room after doing the Inca Trail and the shower in that room was fine. Breakfast was included and was great, and there was always a plentiful supply of coca tea through out the day to combat the altitude sickness. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I will be recommending it to any friends who travel to Cusco.

I am Peruvian living in the US and traveled to Cusco for my second time. On my last day in Cusco I had planned a couple of activities. But instead had to wait for 3 hours for hot water. Hotel ran out of propane gas for the water heater and it took them from 7am until 10am to replace the gas tank. Then of course it will take at least another hour for it to heat the water. I had to be at the airport at 11 so I could not visit the places I had planned and had to leave for the airport without a shower. Never again at this place.

This hotel was really charming located right next to San Blas. We spent two nights there and had a wonderful time. The rooms were cosy and clean. The service was also great. The staff helped us out with transportation, gave us information about the city and also arranged for continental breakfast because we checked out before the breakfast buffet was ready. There was free Wifi and the view of Cuzco from the third floor was amazing. The only problem we had was with the heating. Cuzco can be really cold at night and the plug in heater they provided was insufficient to keep us warm. However, there were many layers of sheets and we managed to stay warm with that. It's a great place to stay for your holiday.

We stayed here our first night before our train ride to Machu Picchu, and then 2 more nights after our visit to MP. The hotel is small, very cozy and the hotel staff was very accommodating. Plenty of hot water for showers and the beds were pretty cozy especially for us who just returned from 4 days in the jungle. While it is not at all like a "chain hotel" it is very quaint and comfortable. The security at the front door made us feel very safe and almost like were in our own little haven. It's a little bit of a hike, but certainly worth it. Love the colors and the decor! Would definitely stay here again!

Good location...not too loud and easy access to a variety of plazas and services. The rooms were comfortable. The only criticism is the third night that we stayed, there was no hot water.

appears to have changed ownership recently. Nice facility in a great neighborhood but prices are quite high for Cusco. Surcharge for credit cards was a major inconvenience. Wifi does not work in all rooms. Good breakfast.

The hotel is quaint and clean. It is located in San Blas close to the main plaza. The beds are cozy, breakfast is good. Good value for the price. Only negatives are low water pressure and sometimes you can hear other guests.

Felt more like a home away from home than a hotel. The people were extremely friendly and helpful. Very flexible with breakfast as we headed out early for the trip to Machu Picchu and great accommodations. If we're ever in Cusco again, we'd stay at Casona les Pleiades!

This bed and breakfast was delightful. We had a split stay and changed rooms - both were great. The owners and staff were very helpful and gracious. This place is in the San Blas arts district, one of the older parts of town - a 10 minute walk to the square, 15 minutes to get back due to it being uphill. The common areas were serene and pleasant and the views from our rooms, on the top floor looked out over the city. The owners did a great job in keeping the character of the place, at the same time making it comfortable to guests. We would highly recommend this to travellers.
