Stayed at Hotel Casiana & Events Center and wow… didn’t realize I was booking into a “maximum security non-smoking facility.” 😅 Let me start with the good: the place is actually really nice. Clean rooms, modern vibe, and a balcony with fresh Tagaytay air. You know… the kind of balcony you’d normally step out onto to relax. Plot twist: you’re not allowed to smoke there. On the balcony. The outdoor balcony. Yes, seriously. I completely understand not smoking inside the room—I don’t do that either. But banning it in open air? What’s next, no breathing too heavily outside? Should we apply for a permit to enjoy the breeze? And just in case you’re thinking of testing it—don’t. The penalty is so high it feels like they’re less concerned about smoke and more excited about the fine. So basically: ✔️ Nice hotel ✔️ Comfortable stay ❌ Balcony you can’t fully use ❌ Rules that feel way over the top If you’re a smoker, this is not the relaxing Tagaytay escape you’re imagining. It’s more like a “follow the rules or pay up” experience. Would I stay again? Only if I suddenly forget what smoking is.
