The check-in and check-out procedure was pretty clear, simple, and flexible (since it was a self check-in). The unit was nice, with 2 cozy bedrooms, a clean bathroom, a decent-sized equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge, induction stove, kitchen tools, basically you could make simple meals there), a little balcony plus a washing machine so you don't have to worry about laundry. Amenities like clean towels, body wash, shampoo, hairdryer, laundry detergent, and iron were provided too. There are a gym and a swimming pool on the rooftop too. The location is also great. There is a convenience store downstairs next to the lobby and another two across the building. A CAT bus stop (a free bus to central areas) is across the street as well. Also, there are lots of bakeries, food hawkers and restaurants, coffee shops, and pharmacies all within walking distance along Macalister Street. If you go to Penang for a medical trip, this is one of the perfect places to stay since it's only a few minutes' drive/by taxi to big hospitals. The lobby and the lifts could get pretty busy around check-in or dinner hours, but it's understandable. If you come here with a big group like families, make sure to request units on the same floor (for ease of access) since it's a 30+ floors building. Overall, it was a great experience! We would love to come back someday.

I’m really enjoying my stay. Easy and fast check-in and check-out. Just WhatsApp the admin, they will explain the check-in and check-out process. Deposit RM200 paid via online transfer. Deposit will be refunded after check-out on the same day. The unit is very nice and clean. Suitable for a small family or couple. The location is also strategic. Nearby Gurney Drive, Padang Kota, etc.

Only 2 minutes walk to Lim Huat Bee & this is the view from my room, room’s very nice it has washing machine, microwave, cooking, stove, plate, etc. The building is very beautiful. Overall very good.

Just stayed at Macalisterz 22 and I absolutely loved the room. It was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and super comfortable. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully arranged, making it really easy to relax. Definitely one of the coziest stays I’ve had, 👍highly recommended!

Not really soundproof, we heard a lot of steps from upstairs and outside the door.

It was a pleasant stay, easy to communicate. Only water dripping sometimes. Overall, it was a fantastic hotel/apartment.

Everything is great except that the AC is located in front of the bed. The vent has to be totally shut, but it makes the AC not working properly. Hopefully, not all rooms are like this.

This isn't a hotel, but a self-check-in apartment. However, if you arrive before check-in time, you can't leave your luggage in the apartment lobby. You'll have to lug your luggage around Penang until 3:00 PM or leave it at Island Hospital.

The room is very clean. I like that it is very spacious, and the area is very close to the main town. Overall a great experience, but if you’re bringing a car it would not be free from parking charge.

Strategically located, close to restaurants and Welling Pharmacy. However, for those unfamiliar with self-check-in, it might be a bit confusing at first. The rooms are new, but amenities aren't as complete as a hotel. Room cleaning is only free once a week, though it's possible, but it's likely a fee. Overall, it's okay.

The apartment is nice, I like it, but I can't leave my luggage there.
