El Cortés was a wonderful surprise. I’ve stayed at several hotels in the Relais & Châteaux collection over the years, and they’ve consistently delivered exceptional experiences. This property had only been open for about a month when we arrived, so the team was still finding their rhythm and hiring staff. We checked in after a very disappointing experience at another hotel. It was my husband’s birthday, and we arrived exhausted. Israel, who welcomed us at the front desk, immediately turned our trip around. He got us checked in quickly, made us feel genuinely welcome, and went above and beyond throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful and brand new, and despite being so newly opened, the service was outstanding. Israel deserves special recognition for his kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. He made all the difference, and I can’t thank him enough. I highly recommend El Cortés and will gladly stay here again. Thank you, Israel, and the entire team, for making our stay so memorable.
