Excellent central location. Easy to find. Simple check-in, friendly reception. Felt safe and secure. Kitchen had everything you could want. Would definitely stay again!

Not as bad as some reviews make it out to be. Would recommend if you just need a place to sleep after a gig or night out but I wouldn't stay for more than one night. 3 minutes from the train station and absolutely worth it for the price, although I'm guessing it's going to increase when the construction is finished (probably not anytime soon). Shower was awkward to use and the kitchen could have been cleaner. The owner was very nice.

firsdt thing, difficult to find, its a small door next to a shop, blink and youll miss it, had a sticker for a gym in the window, Room was basic, chir and desk, side cupboard and a bunk bed, communal showers and toilets is up a set of stairs, currently being refurbed but will be great when all is completed,

The middle-aged male owner was doing up the hostel - v much a building site. He was sleeping in room next door to guests & knew key code of our room off by heart. Toilets, sinks & showers were 2 flights upstairs & he wanted all lights off at night so he could sleep. As females, we felt v vulnerable & didn't feel safe staying at this property. We immediately found alternative accomodation in Leeds & left the property.

I have stayed here at the hostel before. I enjoy staying here. Good surroundings, room was warm, toilets and showers are up on the next floor which is good, breakfast is good too and free beverages (tea and coffee free at any time), all in all, a very good experience, happy to recommend others to stay at the hostel, thank you.

I arrived at the property at 10:30 PM after a long journey, only to be told that all bookings made via Hotels.com had been cancelled — including mine. I was completely blindsided. I received no cancellation email, no warning, no update from your side. The hostel staff told me there was nothing in their system for my booking. Let me be clear: this situation was extremely distressing. It was late at night, I was in an unfamiliar city, and suddenly I had nowhere to stay. What if I hadn’t been able to afford another booking at that moment? What would I have done — sleep on the street? Thankfully, I managed to rebook the same hostel by paying again on the spot. But that is not the point. The entire purpose of booking through Hotels.com is peace of mind and reliable service — which you completely failed to deliver. I contacted your support team twice, both times being told it would take 48 hours for a response. I waited. Still, I received nothing. When I finally received an email asking for proof of payment, I responded immediately with the requested documentation. And yet again — your mailbox was full and my email bounced back.
