A satisfactory visit. It is a budget rental, therefore we expected as much. It was a little rough around the edges, but did the job. The light in the living room and main bunk room did not work; although the tv worked, there were no channels, so pointless. There was nowhere comfortable to sit, the pictures showed a couch which was not there. Plastic chairs may be functional, but definately not comfortable. All beds were twin beds😟

There was no WiFi although the property descryption said so when we booked. Contacted the property admin for two days and received no response. One third of the lights were not working or no globe at all. The property is conveniently located to all the major amenities. Check-in was contactless and harssle free.

There was no toilet rolls in the room, and also the frying pan should be replaced by the new one, as old one is totally destroyed plus there is no pans, if you want to cook something.

After reading some of the reviews, I was rather anxious about what I was going to get. I got exactly what I had previously expected, before reading the negative reviews. Clean bedding, clean room. A towel, which I had not expected. The entrance was round the side, so thank you to the person who put up a picture with that information. (what3words - scooter.curve.props) The building is definitely not 5* hotel quality, but for what I wanted - a cheap, clean place to stay, with cooking facilities - it was perfect. I came back from one excursion, mid-morning, and found the cleaners there, doing their thing, so I could see it was cleaned after the rooms were vacated. A great little place, close to lovely eateries and I would definitely go back there again.

I emailed the property twice to get the check in info. I never heard from anyone until the day I was to check in. By thst time I had already booked another train. So, because of their not communicsting with me, I messed my train. The furniture in the room is minimal and old. The dish washer was full of dirty dishes. The bathroom floor had soap on it and was very slippery. There was only hot water for 1 person to take a shower at a time. It took 2 hours for the hot water to build back up. The shower drain is not secured to the floor. It's a large 5-6 inch hole. One could easily break a foot in the shower drain. It was obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned. It only had a 1/4 roll of toilet papper. I reserved the room for 2 nights. It only had 2 towels. I do not reccommend this place to anyone. Management needs to be quicker to respond to customers emails and they need to perform routine mantinance on the room as well as clean the room and supply it with sufficent toilet papper and towels.

Owners not there. Never provided pass code for outside gate. Never answered emails or messages for help. Had to wait at night in the rain for another guest to come by and open the gate to get to my room - twice the first day. Had to get a local to call them for the pass code on day 2. Also saw a huge rat run through the gate. Beware before you book!

There was no parking not a very safe area for me very old rickety. I wouldn’t even go up to see the room. We did not stay there at all. I sent an email to Expedia. I’m hoping to get some money back.

Access to property not on the street - access from the rear - no communication on where the entrance is located. Our room smelled, don't it was cleaned properly.

The hotel is well located for walking to sights and the bus and train stations. Our room was tight but had a comfortable double bed, table and two chairs, small fridge, microwave, and sink. The bathroom was tiny and had hand soap only, so bring your own shampoo. Despite the instructions we received, it was difficult to find the entrance tucked into the side street. Then, you need to use two different codes to enter the hotel building for the main entrance and internal entrance, unless of course someone has propped open the back door to a courtyard, and then you can just walk in. You also use a code to get your room key out of a lockbox. It's a lot to do to get in and out. Our room and the bathroom was clean enough, but if you're looking for immaculate, this is not your best choice. The price is the hook here.

Listing is a lie. Horrible, near nonexistent communication. Host said communication problem was because my phone wasn't working but 0 msg and 0 emails. All but 1 inquiry via Hotels.com ignored. Received door access codes 3 hours before check after Hotel.com inquired. No msg 7 days before or storing bags before check in as advertised. My room was narrow with lofted beds. Had 1 window that barely opened and a skylight that didn't but fully allowed sun in, Outside was unseasonably warm and the room was a sauna. At 2300hrs the loft was 31C (86 F). Next night was 32 (90F; yes bought a thermometer). It was so stifling ran the stove and bath vent fan 24/7 and mostly kept the door open trying to get cooler air in. Request a fan was ignored. Second night we slept on the floor downstairs because of the heat. Room NOT cleaned between guests. Last guest's used towels still hanging behind bathroom door. Pillow cases missing. Floors NOT swept. Cookie crumbs will be there for future guests. Any black hairs you find belong to an earlier guest. Cabinet shelves and kitchen wall; grimy. I ignore things like a damaged wall, missing trim, etc but there is no excuse for filth, mold or bad communication; all present. So what is true about the property? No elevator (all rooms on 2nd or 3rd floor). Kitchenette haphazardly stocked; just boiling water was full extent of use. Good WIFI if you can get the password. Other reviews mentioned bedbugs but thankfully NONE found.

Very basic accommodation, but great location made up for it. No frills, only one towel per person and no shampoo/shower gel. Difficult to find as it’s round the corner of the actual address. Make sure you read the email they send on the day you arrive as it has all the info you need to access the building/room. I missed this and had to call them, they were very helpful.

This is a self-service apartment with no staff on site. The apartment itself was fine, although the black wooden staircase to the bedroom was tricky to negotiate. So overall it is a basic property with no frills, adequate for a short stay.

The room absolutely reeked of mould. It was like a slap in the face the second you open the door. Smelled so bad I gagged every time i had to open the bathroom door or get close to the kitchen. Had to keep our window wide open the entire time it smelt so bad

Fine for a one or 2 night stay as Bergen's an expensive city. Had the room with a bathroom so had all I needed. Very close to the usual attractions but far enough away to be quiet.
