Mask wearing is optional in outdoor areas but is required in all indoor exhibits and specified areas. Dining-in at F&B outlets is allowed only for vaccinated visitors as well as unvaccinated visitors who are 12 years and under. Checks may be done to ensure compliance.
For the ParkHopper Plus ticket holders: If you plan to visit all the parks in 1 day, the first ticket redemption may be at any of the parks. However, if you plan on visiting the parks on different days, then the first ticket redemption must be done at Night Safari.

    The wildlife is at its most interesting pace at night, and you are invited to watch all the hunt and the fun under the moonlight at The Night Safari Singapore. The nocturnal zoo is the first of its kind in the world, and is still one of the most magnificent wildlife attractions for visitors of all ages. It is the home for over 900 animals of 100 species, of which 41 percent are of the threatened category.

    Nocturnal Adventures Under the Starry Sky at Night Safari

    Since its opening on 16 May 1994, the Night Safari has seen approximately 1.3 million visitors per year. The brainchild of those who gave birth to Jurong Bird Park, Singapore Zoo, and River Safari, the Night Safari Singapore guarantees an exciting time for animal lovers and wildlife seekers on each visit.

    The Night Safari map stretches across its 35 hectares area of exhibit, which you can explore from the comfort of a tram ride or on an adventurous foot journey. The tram ride brings you along the zones of Himalayan Foothills and Marshlands exhibit where you can find endemic animals such as bharal, markhor, greater flamingos, and even smooth-coated otters; Subcontinent of Indias exhibit, which is the home to the most majestic animals such as the barasingha, red-crowned cranes, and asiatic lions; Equatorials of Savannah exhibit, that brings you closer to most of the star animals of the Night Safari, such as the white African lions and spotted hyenas; Indian Riverine Forest, which is the home to Malayan tapirs, Bornean bearded pigs, and Asian elephant; as well as the Burmese River valley, which is the dwelling zone for gaur and Asiatic black bear.

    The foot journey is no less adventurous, with exhibit zones include the Fishing cat trail and Marsh Birds with animals such as Himalayan tahr, spectacled owl, and binturong; Leopard trail and Mangrove Walk with predators such as the clouded panther, Sri Lankan leopard, and masked palm civet; East Lodge trail with unique creatures such as aardvark, bongo antelopes, and red river hogs; Wallaby Trail and Naracoote Cave with marsupials such as the red-necked wallaby, brush-tailed possum, and Tasmanian devil. All of the animals are active at night and you can witness the grandeurs of the majestic creatures under the starry sky.

    Naturally, the attraction only opens when the sun goes down. The Night Safari opening hours are from 18.30 to midnight, from Thursdays to Sundays, eve of Public Holidays and Public Holidays, and during selected school holidays. The Night Safari tickets start at SGD 47.70, and are redeemable until 23:15.

    You would want to book your Night Safari ticket ahead of your visit and study the health protocols carefully to ensure a smooth entry to the zoo. Getting to the zoo, which is located in Mandai, is easiest by riding a loop shuttle service from Khatib MRT Station to the Night Safari Coach Bay. The 15 minutes bus ride is conveniently available from 8 am and 11 pm. However, a parking lot is also available for those reaching the attraction by cars.
