What Guests Say About Their Stay

The hotel is located in front of a huge shopping mall and very convenient. They gave us welcome drink and the front desk was more like a bar which may be fun for some people to enjoy night activities in the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious, and the breakfast was fine.

Liked that it was close to cabot and within walking distance to many things. Did not like the scaffolding, entrance of the hotel was facing busy street making it hard to park/drive, really loved the staff and service.

We've been coming here twice a month for a few years. New policy prevents my wife from checking in if she gets there before me. We were told building works commence at 8 and we had workman outside our window at 7. Didn't get discount for car park as hotel had IT issues

We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food. The bed was very comfortable but don’t think it was the queen size that we ordered and paid for.

Great stay, slept well. Nice friendly staff who provided a warm welcome. Not too noisy for a city ctr hotel. Comfortable beds. Stayed in room 146. Shower head wouldnt stay in position on the bracket. It kept sliding down (okay if you’re on the short side but not so much if you’re tall). Was also unable to get shampoo out of dispenser as the pump mechanism wasn’t working. Plug socket outside of bathroom which is located for hair dryer/mirror use is faulty. Unable to plug hairdryer in it as would not physically go in. Had to use plug not located by a mirror. All minor issues and generally a good stay

Not a great first impression. The hotel is undergoing some construction work so the entire building is covered in scaffolding and netting. No mention of works at time of booking. Large pot plants outside were mostly dead and gave the hotel an uncared for feeling. Friendly check in staff. Woken up around 8am on the Saturday morning by construction work, so that wasn't great. Breakfast was OK, items kept running out and no one replenishing unless asked. Bed very comfortable and room clean.

Unfortunately it was a very noisy stay. We were staying on the second floor at the front of the hotel and could hear music thudding until midnight. The room on the whole was comfortable and clean. Just a shame about the noise.

Good location, quiet despite being surrounded with scaffolding. Bed very comfortable, good shower. Shower gel container was empty during our stay and not refilled despite request. Some biscuits to go with tea/coffee would be nice. Had pizza from restaurant which was delicious. Would stay again and recommend.

We would not stay here again. Con- no wardrobe/shelves. We had to keep our clothes in the case. One short hanging rail which we had to hang towels on as no bathroom hanging space. There is very little space in the standard room to move about. No mini fridge for cold drinks and medication (no rooms have them) Currently this property is being renovated. According to locals because of fire safety issues with their cladding. I've not fact checked that. Either way approaching this hotel is awful it's all scaffolded. Pro- cleaners do a great job and reception were helpful Parking is available with discount on a public car park over a busy main road. Spaces are a good size and it is well patrolled. Location - near to main shopping area, quite a messy area lots of through traffic but we didn't hear any car noise inside. Close to some good coffe and pastry spots.
