Great hotel in a great location. Ideal for exploring Liverpool as it close to everything, restaurants, bars, Matthew st , Albert dock and so much more. Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious, only minor problem i would say is the rooms are very warm. Breakfast was plentiful. Cooked breakfast and continental options available.

Good central location which made the room noisy as we were located at the front of the hotel. Breakfast hit and miss, just warm on the 1st morning but cold on the 2nd morning. Bedrooms are dark and beds are small. Tables outside were mostly broken and wobbly, drinks were expensive from the bar. Would we stay again, unfortunately no.

We enjoyed our stay - hotel was lovely. However breakfast wasn't very organised. We had to ask for some of the items - bread, butter, cutlery, water. The staff didnt seem to be checking that items were always replenished. One of the days the food was cold - the flames had gone out on burners. Trying to get coffee out of the jug took forever - it was like a workout having to press the button multiple times. The breakfast is the only area that needs improved.

Breakfast - very good. Hotel a bit dated. Mattress was very think. Room facing the lively area, was very noisy. Poor Management (front desk lady was fine). Seeking to pass blame of unable to take deposit (I had already paid for the room) without physical card and PIN, as their machines were not capable. Passing blame to customers for poor systems is NOT a good idea. Had to wade through mu online banking to find PIN details, and lucky I had a physical card on me else they (the manager) said this was MY problem ! With 2 kids waiting (Severely Autistic so already a challenge), this was very poor

Nice hotel with a quick check in and out. Breakfast wasn't the best as there was not much food left when we got there and had to find our own cutlery. Only stayed 1 night so everything else was just as expected.

This is probably the best 3 star hotel i have ever stayed in! The lication was grwat. 8 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the town centre, 14 minutes from the museums and Albert Dock. ( we are early 60s so dontvwalk quickly). The hotel bar and redeption are wel, decorated andvthe staff very accomodating. There was a lift to all floors so it doesn't matter which floor you are on. It is on a main bus route and busy road but the noise is minimal ( we stayed Wednesday and Thursday nights). There was no noise after 11pm. We booked bed and breakfast, the food was very good. A fantastic selection of pastries, muffins, cereal, fruit and yoghurt alongside the full English breakfast. All of the items we tried were cooked to perfection and good quality. All food was topped up regularly and staff were attentive. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely looking hotel, room a bit small and dark but great value. Don't expect peace and quiet as it's city centre. Very friendly staff and a decent enough breakfast, though could do with more veggie/vegan options.
