Me and friends just stayed 1 night here and we really enjoyed it. Clean facilities, helpful friendly staffs, nice place to relax and located in Kota Tua. Air-cond in the room works great so we had good sleeps. Would definitely stay again.

hello traveller. coming to Jakarta and trying to catch a nice staying. here a Mel's Dorm, exceptional Hostel with the friendliest staff ever, obviously feeling Hommie. I flew away from Bali to Jakarta, arrived at the Jakarta International Airport was a bit confused cause this Airport is too big. try to catch a train to reach Mel's Dorm, literally easy with Railing Train to Sudirman Station but it takes longer then get by Gojek. walked litle bit outside into a parking lot, they order Gojek (indonesian uber version). it costed me IDR 50.000. It took 40 minutes driving. once I arrived at the hostel, I was welcomed by the man staff there. definitely friendly and so warm, gave me all information about the Mel's dorm and around. while staying here, they kept cooking for everyone at the hostel. literally delicious especially the TEMPEH. It s been my favourite and always. yes, can say this mels dorm is adorable. the staff connected all the travellers there to be linked and friendship. so cool! thus all travellers, please don't be hesitate! book this Hostel and enjoy staying! 😍😊

A nice and clean dorm. The place is very suitable to enjoy the feel of old part of Jakarta. With unique concept and very welcome atmosphere from the staffs.

It's on the floor. 3 old buildings. but the location is very strategic, just walk to the old city. the service satisfies the friendly receptionist, the fathers are very helpful. first came in the room tour rhymes explaining the rules of the dorm no room whatsoever, educative lah. Apart from that the room is clean and comfortable, very comfortable. unfortunately the toilet is rather narrow, for those with long legs it's rather difficult indeed. But the rest is fun. If you want to go to the old city for 1 day is not enough, you must stay here too.

Very nice! all satisfied! the bedroom slept okay, the air conditioner was on the road, the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The restaurant is so cute! Its position is really facing the old city and its canal, and there is a bean bag to hang out while looking beautiful views of the old city, strategic location.

its position is very strategic, located in the tourist area of the old city ... which I feel when entering is very quiet and comfortable, far from the noise, right for backpackers, the price is very affordable ...

Waiters are very friendly. Rooms, toilets and common rooms are clean. There is a kitchen equipped with cooking utensils and cutlery. For breakfast, bread and fruit are provided free of charge. Only one drawback, the toilet is narrow. The rest is very good and very comfortable.

A hostel that is perfect for adventurers who want to adventure in Jakarta. The hostel is new, clean and tidy, the location is in the third floor building building, opposite the famous red-and-red shop (the entrance is one with a food court, so if the night is closed, ask the security guard to go to the hostel). Even though on the 3rd floor the hostel staff want to help bring our things. Access to the old city can be directly from the downstairs hallway of the hostel. Day or night there are many food vendors.
