As usual it always have fun staying in Amaris. Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff. Nice room and tea maker is available now (smart room). The hotel is old. Front desk staffs are not so friendly. The carpet with cigarette holes, linen with holes and not white anymore, arm chair’s cushion broken and smelly and chair with cigarette hole, are all worn out. Need renovation. Close to harbour bay mall, but the mall it self almost empty. Good that there is a supermarket. Close to other mall but hard to find reliable taxi in Batam, dominated by unregistered taxi who charge unreasonable fare.

They gives us smoking room. It is very smelly and the sink is not working. The room looks run down as well with holes in the chair and the lift is very slow. Breakfast is terrible since they do not refill anything even though it is only 8.30 am. They only make sure fried rice and bee hoon is there.

The room have nice coffee cups, 3 in 1 coffee and tea but no kettle. The breakfast is better off eating outside. Coffee not even warm, bread toaster spoil. The best thing with their breakfast is the banana. If you are cycling in bintan don't bother to stay there. They don't allow bicycles.
