Hotel Daniel

We spent a lovely three nights at this hotel. The room, the pool and all the facilities were super and very clean. Breakfast was great! Would definitely recommend.

I was disappointed this hotel is very basic the bed felt like a rock breakfast is mediocre. Honestly for the price I paid I expected some value.

This hotel is outstanding in all areas. It’s staff make it what it is. They are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to ensure your holiday goes well. Our receptionist and breakfast staff really looked after us, and were always smiling! The hotel is clean, quiet and peaceful and perfectly situated in Murta Maria. Restaurants and supermarkets all in walking distance. The breakfasts were delicious. The pool was clean and there were enough sun beds for guests. The hotel ran a shuttle down to the beach every day and we used this a number of times. You need a car to explore the surrounding area. A perfect place to stay.

Hotel Daniel is a very clean and comfortable hotel in Olbia. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever experienced at a hotel in Italy, and we travel a lot. The location is perfect for exploring the area, especially if you have a car, and there are fabulous restaurants and a grocery store within a 5 minute walk. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the neighbourhood is safe and quiet. It’s a hidden gem!

Very handy only 10 minutes from Airport when we flew in around 8pm. Host was waiting for us and room was adequate for 3 of us. There was no lift but host helped us with luggage. Parking out the front. Pool looked nice but we didn’t get to use it. Local area isn’t the greatest so one night was suitable before starting out road trip. Breakfast was great.

Lovely hotel, comfortable, clean rooms. Serviced daily, even towels which didn't need to be, thinking environmentally here. Great breakfast selection, pastries, muffins, eggs, sliced meats, cheeses, yogurts and fruit. Excellent coffee, I like a double espresso topped up with hot water and after the first morning it would appear on my table without asking. The staff were lovely, very helpful and professional. The fresh water pool was right outside our door, very refreshing and never busy. There is a football and tennis area available but when we asked if my son could play ball, we were told it was 50 euros, so we gave that a miss! Porto Istana beach is a short distance away, a shuttle bus is available twice daily from the hotel. We drove, follow signs to White Sand for easier access. Hotel Daniel sun loungers with umbrellas are on the beach and available for hire 25 euros for two for the day. Restaurants are within walking distance, lots to choose from, great for fish lovers but also plenty of pasta and pizzas. Would recommend Caminera, Restaurant Murta Maria, there are so many to choose from, be prepared to wait for the bill and ask if you need to pay at the front otherwise you could wait a long time!

Would definitely go back, the pool was great. The staff and owner couldn’t do enough for you. It was a very relaxing holiday just what we wanted.

The hotel Daniel is a calm oasis in a small beach oriented town south of Olbia. Within walking distance we could find a grocery store in several good restaurants to choose from. The beach was about 2 km away, so you would need a car to get there. There is paid parking, but most people opt to pull up on the side of the road in order to avoid the fees. Consequently you need to get there fairly early in order to find a spot. The rooms were spacious, immaculate and comfortable, and breakfast was very good in the morning. If we had one complaint would be that the Wi-Fi was not working for the entire time that we were there. The front desk staff kept telling us that they were coming any minute to fix it, but we spoke to one of the other guests who have been there for a week, and she said it did not work the entire time that they were there. Frankly, we enjoyed the disconnect and pretended that it was 20 years ago when everybody wasn’t constantly connected by social media, Wi-Fi and electronic devices. We would certainly go back.

Place met all our expectations! Staff was friendly and extremely helpful coordinating a taxi pick up to the airport for an extremely early departure.

Hotel Daniel was a great place to stay. The staff were so friendly and made our stay so happy. The hotel was quiet and relaxed. The pool was great. The rooms were very clean with lots of space. The beach nearby is beautiful, with clear warm water and fine sand. Thank you so much for a brilliant holiday!

I loved this place. The bed was crazy hard and the breakfast pretty lacking, but the service and pool made up for it.

Nice family hotel in a quiet area. Great continental breakfast and choices. Very good local restaurants less than 10 minutes walk.
