Awesome staff throughout the hotel, always helpful - an oasis and highly recommended

We stayed 9th to 19th August 2025 From the minute we walked in to the time we left, the service was the absolute best! We cannot say enough good things about the staff! They went above and beyond to make us feel special! Special thanks to Gennaro who acknowledged our anniversary both at breakfast and at dinner. He is very attentive and always ensured we had everything we needed. His team did the same and the front desk team was always willing to assist. They were very accommodating They even had breakfast for us to take with us on the morning we were leaving, as the kitchen would be closed at 6am! The property was absolutely stunning. So many areas to walk around and lots of seating and lush greenery everywhere! La Medusa is a definite must! It’s located close to Sorrento, Pompei, with easy access to go to the Amalfi Coast, Positano and Capri! We will not hesitate to recommend this first class hotel and would love to stay again! Best hotel. Best staff ❤️

The property was Beautiful our room was perfect for us. my only issue was the controlling nature of the staff in wanting to hold our car keys and regularly asking where we are going if we move from the sun lounger. The pool also closed at 7 which was too early for me.

The attention to the details is superb. The breakfast location and the dinner atmosphere are particularly special!

Beautiful rooms, hotel and landscape. Staff were very nice and helpful. Shuttle was offered to train station and near marina for ferry or to visit Castellemare di Stabia along ocean when requested. They also helped us with taxi to places further away or during non shuttle times. Had a great restaurant and accommodated our teens at dinner with lunch menu items. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed her for two nights as a solo woman traveler and felt completely safe. Reception- welcoming and helpful; room-clean; restaurant- delicious, spa experiences- excellent; pool-relaxing. If I am ever near Naples again, this is where I'll stay.

Italian Luxury at it's finest but amazingly affordable. Quite and loved the pool area and breakfast daily. 1st class all around.

Everything is very comfortable. The interior is amazing. Don’t let me get started on the garden. Overall a beautiful place and a wonderful place to visit

This is an outstanding hotel nestled in the hills with outstanding views. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough to help you. We stayed for 5 nights and genuinely did not want to leave. We were made to feel at home at all times and the rooms were very nice and very comfortable. All this said, with such a beautiful property it was the staff throughout that made our stay so memorable and enjoyable. I do hope that the owners appreciate what a great team they have. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds in the evening. Only issue was the mattress uneven with two beds pushed together to form a king, otherwise wonderful stay. Would stay again.

Excellent hotel with beautiful grounds, high quality restaurant and premium breakfast. Junior suite had a humongous balcony/terrace with breathtaking views of Mt Vesuvius. The staff is very cordial and friendly

Attentive, Friendly staff and outstanding service is just touching on the experience we had at this hotel for our short break. The hotel was clean well presented and although 10 mins drive from the centre the quietness was refreshing. Our room overlooking Vesuvius the bay and gardens of the hotel. Not the biggest of rooms that we have stayed in but ample room for us. Excellent facilities, bathrobes and slippers at your disposal. Mini bar however this was not fully stocked and I had to ensure that we were not charged for the missing items. The bed of excellent size plenty of room and very comfortable. Plenty of pillows and cushions. TV with English channels. The spa and beauty.studio, offers a range of services, I partook in a massage, organised beforehand. Everyone spoke English some better than others but their English much better than my Italian . Spa a little expensive, however you need to treat yourself once in while. The friendly reception staff impressed us by the greeting recived on our arrival. We have stayed in many hotels and this was the 1st time we had experienced such a welcome. Throughout our stay the staff did not waver on their attentiveness and assistance organised excursions and taxis. Nothing was too much trouble. The inclusive breakfast well presented, plentiful selection and although they state it is continental, hot selection is also available. Fresh local produce delishious. I would definitely recommend this hotel it made our visit.

I wanted to share feedback about our recent stay at La Medusa Dimora di Charme. The patio with Sorrento lemons and oranges was fantastic, and the team made our experience exceptional. Anna and Genaro welcomed us warmly, handling our luggage and check-in efficiently while we relaxed at the bar. Luigi provided a refreshing welcome drink and attended to our needs with local brand suggestions. At the restaurant, Genaro explained everything expertly, and Milena, our sommelier, offered knowledgeable wine choices. Anna made excellent recommendations and reservations for our celebrations outside the hotel, staying in direct contact to ensure we enjoyed wonderful places for dinner, drinks, and music. The staff made our stay unforgettable, especially Genaro, who pampered us during dinner and breakfast. He remembered our friend's birthday, serving Prosecco with strawberries and surprising her with a cake. We are grateful for their efforts and express our heartfelt appreciation. Thank you, Genaro, Anna, Milena, Luigi (Bar), and Luigi (restaurant) for a memorable stay!

Gardens and cocktails were great. Food needed some work but close to everything.

The property and stay was excellent, staff were very nice and helpful but the only downside was that the property were doing repairs so no swimming and we couldn’t sit in the gardens and enjoy the gardens because of repairs so therefore there wasn’t anything to do outside but stay in our room which was very disappointing.

Hotel property is beautiful! Staff is excellent! True luxury hotel. The white decor is very pleasing and makes everything that much more luxurious. Breakfast room is beautiful with amazing views of Mt. Vesuvius and other mountains. The only drawback to this hotel is that is far from Sorrento. Taxis are expensive to get to Sorrento as it is over45 minutes away, It is very close to Pompeii though.

Our stay was wonderful, the staff is so professional and friendly that you feel right at home. Starting with Ana at the reception desk, she made sure that we had reservations for all the places we wanted to go. Genaro, Milena and Luigi treated us like royalty for breakfast and dinner and the other Luigi at the bar prepared the most delicious cocktails. We were a group of 3 couples and the whole crew at Medusa made our stay a memorable one, we definitely will go back and if you want to be pampered you should stay there too.
