They were all so helpful! I relied on Google Translate to communicate and everyone was so patient and kind! The room was the right size for 2 adults...we had just enough space for moving about the room, but not much more than that. Suitcases had to be stored under the bed...we had 2 carry ons and 2 backpacks and they fit perfectly. They would come and take out trash daily if you put the sign on the front of the door. The service was just amazing!! They were incredibly kind. Walking around felt safe at all hours too. It is a 5 minute walk to all subways, including the one to/from Haneda airport. I was worried booking this place having never been to Japan before, but I would definitely stay here again!!

How to go to APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae Kita from Airport

Getting from the airport to APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae Kita is a breeze, with several convenient options available. Whether you're looking for speed, affordability, or a bit of both, Tokyo has you covered. Here's a breakdown of your hotel transfer options:

  • Taxi (most direct):

A taxi is the most direct way to get to the hotel. You can find taxi stands outside both Narita (NRT) and Haneda (HND) airports. Be prepared for a potentially higher fare, especially from Narita, which is further away.
  • Limousine Bus (comfortable and convenient):

The Airport Limousine Bus offers a comfortable and hassle-free transfer to various locations in Tokyo, including some near Asakusa. Check the bus schedules and drop-off points to see if there's a convenient stop near the hotel.
  • Narita Express (N'EX) and JR Lines (efficient):

From Narita Airport, take the Narita Express to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line or the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line to Kanda Station. At Kanda Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Asakusa Station. From Asakusa Station, the hotel is a short walk away.
  • Keisei Skyliner (fast and affordable from Narita):

From Narita Airport, the Keisei Skyliner is a fast and relatively affordable option to Ueno Station. From Ueno Station, you can take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Asakusa Station, which is close to the hotel.

Tips:

For the most convenient route, consider the Limousine Bus if it has a stop near the hotel. If you're arriving at Narita and want a fast option, the Keisei Skyliner to Ueno followed by the Ginza Line is a good choice. We had a wonderful stay at APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae Kita. We especially loved our corner room, which gave us an amazing view of the Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree — a perfect sight to wake up to and unwind with at night. The location is excellent. The hotel is close to train stations and convenience stores, making it easy to get around. Sensoji Temple is within walking distance, and visiting it at night was absolutely magical — beautifully lit and much less crowded. Asakusa has a relaxed, traditional vibe that we really appreciated, especially after previously staying in the busier Shibuya area. It was lovely to return each day to a quieter, more laid-back part of Tokyo. The hotel staff were helpful and polite, and the breakfast each morning was convenient and satisfying — a great way to start the day. Access to both Haneda and Narita airports via Asakusa Station was also a big plus. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Great little room but the view from the corner view room is worth it. Great location for transport, direct line to Haneda Airport.

First room's bathroom smelled like urine so I had to ask them to allow me to switch rooms. The second room's bathroom had sour smelling shower curtains. Had to ask them to change them out for new ones.

Within walking distance to train station, staff are polite and helpful. Room is very small but typical of hotels in japan.

Everything was perfect, except that the room size was a little bit small (which is normal for Japan).
