The property is fine. Probably a good place for business travelers. The hotel is beginning to show its age. It took some convincing to get my daughter to use the shower as the grout was pretty awful inside. It was black in a lot of areas. The bathrooms could use an update and maybe get rid of some of the 80s-90s patterns. The hotel was very friendly and courteous. The hotel just needs a refresh. We didn’t receive our free cocktails when we checked in. Not sure why.

Felt luxurious but a bit stuffy without the perks of a high end hotel. It was definitely more of a business hotel feeling than one for a pleasure trip. More authentic Japanese options in the city which we preferred. The staff, however, was accommodating to our needs which we were thankful for. Overall a nice affordable pick for those who like a western hotel experience.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms large and the bathroom was great with a separate bath and shower. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was exceptional and attentive. They spoke perfect English and were always helpful. The location to 2 different stations (Hamamatsucho and Takeshiba) made travel easy. If you don’t eat at the hotel then restaurant options are limited nearby. The breakfast was good, but not top notch. The bay view was a very nice plus. The windows have a nice sitting area.

This is NOT A FIVE STAR HOTEL. But a 3.5 star hotel and here is why. The location is not good and the walk everyday to the subway station is very unsatisfactory. This hotel is smack dab in the business district and nothing around for several blocks. After the long walk to the subway each day, you will find one of the most confusing station exits. We stayed here for 6 nights and still had a hard time finding the right exit. The view does not look like the photos and underwhelming, but we did have a good view of the sky tree on one side and the rainbow bridge on the other. The gym is basically a basic sized hotel room with 2 treadmills and not one weight machine, but a cheap home gym free weight set and a couple mats. This was a joke, so I got a membership at golds gym about 1/2 miles away, not my idea of a five star experience. The beds were not good and pillows had no form, after laying down for 30 minutes, your head will be flat on the mattress. The bathroom was nothing to write home about and I’ve had way better bathrooms in actual five star hotels. If you are looking for a Five Star hotel in Tokyo for about the same price stay at the Hotel Chinzasno across town. It is actually a five star hotel with a hotspring. This was false advertisement and I regret staying here for 6 nights. The desert bar and restaurant is style over substance. On a positive note, the breakfast is included and very good, the lighting in the room is amazing and the staff was friendly and professional.

My high school friend and I (two adult women) took our first trip to Japan and had a great stay at this hotel in Tokyo. We arrived late via train from Narita and walked about 8–10 minutes from Hamamatsucho Station—it's safe and walkable even at night, though I recommend a taxi, especially with luggage. The hotel does offer a shuttle, but we chose to walk to the station each day for sightseeing. The concierge was very helpful and suggested the Tokyo city sightseeing bus. We did all three color routes over two days without getting off—an amazing way to get familiar with the city before exploring on our own. Our room had an incredible view of the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay. Watching the sunrise with a cup of espresso in hand (coffee pods and water replenished daily) while chatting with family back home was a lovely way to start each day. The room was clean, quiet, and stocked with all essentials—towels, toiletries, bottled water, and a coffee machine. Breakfast was a highlight: healthy options like yogurt, fruits, salads, juices, eggs made to order, and Japanese dishes. As non-pork eaters, we still had plenty to enjoy. After a long Mt. Fuji day trip, we used in-room dining for soup and fried chicken, though it wasn’t to our taste (very different from what we’re used to). Staff kindly arranged a timely taxi to the Shinkansen station for our trip to Osaka. This is a well-maintained, truly 5-star hotel. Get the bay view room—you won’t regret it!
