Walkway to rooms look dated. Waiting time for the lift also very long, especially during check out time. Other than that, room is clean, spacious and comfy. Rooftop pool very breezy with nice view. Breakfast selection is good too!

There were cockroaches in the bathroom, the sheets were a bit dirty, and the water was cloudy yellow. When I complained about the water, the staff quickly came and turned on the water and let it run until it turned white. Then, suddenly, the water was clean, and there were cockroaches. Finally, I asked to move rooms. The room was downstairs, and the water was yellow too, and the room was a bit less clean than the second floor. I was tired of complaining, so I just accepted it. The room I booked was quite large and had quite complete amenities, but please improve the cleanliness, because the price isn't cheap. If the cleanliness is like that, I'd have booked a cheaper one. I deliberately booked an expensive one because I wanted it clean and not dirty, and I was quite disappointed.

Pros: Best thing is the location, though around here the mall is mostly 'atas' expensive stuff except for Mr DIY for snacks and drinks; the supermarket is high end so nice selection if you want to buy fruits or cheese. It's like 15mins by Grab to the city centre so I avoided jams. The room was basic and I was happy the bar fridge worked so I could keep my salad and canned drinks. Lots of wear & tear in my room. Bed was wierd, 2 singles pushed together.. would prefer a single or a queen. The working desk was big, good for doing my work and food. The pool looked inviting up there but it's open air with no shelter so scorching hot. The coffee machine at the lobby is awesome! The staff were all friendly, and I felt security was relatively good. The price I paid was promo so overall was good value. Cons: HOWEVER, for some reason there were MANY ANTS in the bathroom on the sink top :( They kept appearing around my toiletries and toothbrush set - I took videos. I got the trash removed every day that I stayed, so I am certain it did not originate from my activities or my food.. and it was only in the bathroom, where I obviously did not have any food. Secondly, the 'gym' was quite barren :( I was looking forward to using it but there were only weights and a stacks machine and a couple of barely functional bikes. Please invest in more machines and hopefully padded floors so that people can even skip rope comfortably. Finally, please consider having a small microwave in the room. It would be very useful to heat up stuff. Overall nice stay, would repeat if the promo price was available again :)

Smooth check in and check out experience. The hotel has all the necessary facilities such as gym and pool. The sky pool view is great. The breakfast buffet is decent. The only drawback is there was no mirror in the room. There is only mirror in the bathroom. So become slightly inconvenient for people with room sharing.

As a first-timer for a two-night hotel stay, Dorsett Hartamas proved to be a delightful choice, leaving me eager for a return visit. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the genuinely friendly and helpful front office staff. Their attentiveness truly impressed me – my small request for a 'Dorsett' pencil was not only fulfilled but was accompanied by a brand new mini notepad, thoughtfully delivered directly to my room. This level of service immediately set a positive tone for my stay. While the room itself was comfortable, it wasn't particularly spacious. The bathroom was adequate, however, I did encounter a couple of maintenance issues. The toilet bidet emitted a rather irritating sound, suggesting it might need some attention. Additionally, I was unable to fill the bathtub completely as the water seemed to slowly drain away. Similarly, the sink water took its time to empty, hinting at a possible clog. The breakfast experience over the two days was enjoyable, with a good taste on both mornings. The variety offered was comparable to what one typically finds at other hotels. However, the absolute highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the pool. The magnificent view it offered was truly breathtaking. Being able to see all four of Malaysia's tallest towers created a stunning backdrop, and I highly recommend experiencing it at night when the view transforms into something truly magical. The extended operating hours of the pool and gym, open until 10:00 PM, were also a fantastic bonus. My only real disappointment with Dorsett Hartamas was the elevator situation. With 27 floors and only two elevators, wait times could be quite lengthy, especially during peak hours. Despite these minor inconveniences, my overall experience at Dorsett Hartamas was fantastic. It proved to be the perfect staycation, and I will definitely be returning for another relaxing getaway in the future.
