Shemaja Inn

Affordable and located at the center of Kalibo. 7/11 and Macdo is just a few steps away. If you're going to Boracay you can easily find the VAN terminal.

Our stay at this inn is pretty fine. The receptionist and the owner were very polite and accommodate. Near Mcdo and 7eleven. The room is clean and even the bath room. We stayed at a standard room. The rooms were kind of old and dim but its fine. TV works well even if it's the old version. The water supply in the bathroom is quite fine even though sometimes the water cuts off, I think it only happens when the other room uses the water in the same time. Most of the walls are made of wood thats why we can hear the conversations of the other room. They have povided us breakfasy which is corned beef and rice. Overall, everything is good. We had a nice place to stay during the storm Urduja.

When we arrived, they reserved the wrong room. Instead of the Deluxe Room, the front desk insisted of the Standard Room based from their log book. She told me that there's no Deluxe Room available. Irritated as we are all tired, I showed her my online booking. She then told me to fill out the form and if it's okay if we wait in the standard room while she's cleaning the deluxe room. So we waited for more than 30 minutes. Upon transferring, the floor is still wet. Very poor lighting especially in the bathroom. The window in the bathroom is left open since it's damaged. The place needs serious upgrade and maintenance. Good thing we only stayed here for a few hours. I guess you can find some better place for the price. The only good thing here is the location since across you can find Mcdonald's and Seven 11.
