Has everything you need for one night. The hotel was a little difficult to find as Google Maps sent me to the wrong location, but the staff were very helpful in guiding me to the right place.

I arrived late but managed to find an English News channel on the TV after I had a warm shower. Unfortunately in the morning I discovered that they no longer provide a buffet breakfast. At least I was able to get FREE WiFi to keep in contact with family.

OK, it's the cheapest place to stay in Szczecin and considering that fact, it's OK. Our room had been smoked in before, especially the bathroom smelled like smoke. Also, one of 2 curtains was missing, so we could close it all the way. The bed was great, but sleeping can be a challenge. Our neighbors we casually talking and had the TV on at low volume, but the walls are not isolated and we could literally hear what they were saying. If we would have understood Ukrainian.

When we checked in the receptionist was extremely friendly. A big plus for having lovely staff greeting guests. The place is clean; spacious rooms; good condition. Beds are comfortable. Overall, the stay was good and I would recommend the place to others.

A good inexpensive hotel just a ten minute walk from both the rail station and the city center. With a desk, telephone, cable television, and comfortable bed, it gave you everything you needed. The breakfast offered good variety. The establishment had been apparently some sort of official guest house and had a faded "old times" flair to it, but it was still a good value for the money. My only criticism is that the building is that the hotel is not visible from the street and the lack of good signage makes finding it somewhat difficult, particularly after dark.

My first time in Szczecin and me and my friend loved it. Hotel Kapitan was great - our room - 2 single beds - was quite big and cosy and the check in / receptionists were great. HUGE range of foods available for breakfast too. Would I stay again? Definitely. One day our room wasn't cleaned but I think we just came down too late - A great little hotel, esp if you're on a budget and you can easily walk to the centre / old town or get a short taxi journey if needed. I'd recommend!! Thanks

Hotel Kapitan is cheap but totally adequate for a short stay. Breakfast is substantial - plenty of choice, and nicely presented in a pleasant dining room. An evening meal is available for those who want it. I agree with some other reviewers - it isn't easy to find. It's on Ul. Narutowiczna, but it's behind some other buildings, and not visible from the street. Clue - go between the two large buildings opposite Netto - Kapitan is down here! Staff very helpful, though if you can speak a bit of Polish, it helps.
