Motel One Glasgow

Not a great stay, the noise of music was so loud. Had to put the tv on to try and drown out the beat of the music and finaly fell asleep around 4am only to be wakened by a high pitched noise coming from the bathroom juat befire 8am. Really disappointed as had stayed here before and had a great nights sleep.

Although there was a slight delay with check in, due to our room not quite being ready, drinks vouchers offered more than made up for the slight inconvenience. Our 2nd stay here and would recommend a stay for anyone visiting Glasgow.

The over all stay was great. Check-in was hectic. I was given a key to my room but it didn’t work so I went down and waited in line to get a key that worked. I got a key that worked and went back up to the room the key worked this time but when I opened the door the room was occupied 😳. So I went back down and waited in line to get another room that wasn’t occupied. They gave me a free drink at the bar but I don’t drink alcohol. That being said the bed was the most comfortable one of my whole UK holiday.

Great location. Clean and good-sized room for one person. The mattress was lovely and firm. Shower pressure was good. The staff at the bar were friendly.

I booked 3 nights, primarily to have a time-out and relax. The room was ok, although very small and a bit lackluster. The main issue i encountered was that the tv did not work properly. It buffered constantly, to the point that it was unwatchable. I reported this to reception and they informed me that nothing could be done as there is no maintenance on weekends (thats just unacceptable), but when i returned to say the issue hadnt resolved they did offer to move me to a "better" room the next again day, which they did. However it was not a "better" room in any way, it was exactly the same, and the tv in that room also had the same issues with the TV. I reported this and was told there was nothing that could be done, and all i could do was email Motel One to complain. I did send am email of comaint, and over a week later I have still not had a reaponse. I also filled in an online form on their website, but no response. I would add that it is a very noisy area. For that reason alone i would not choose to stay in this hotel. Very disappointing, and definitely not worth the money. I paid £357 for 3 nights, and quite frankly it woulsnt have been worth it at half that price.

Can’t fault this hotel stayed here a few times staff pleasant and helpful right in city centre overall great hotel

No frills place, tight spaces but clean and efficiently managed, front desk super friendly, Fri and Sat used by party goers, sometimes doors banging.

Wonderful location and kind staff, I would have appreciated a face cloth and shampoo and conditioner for the price I paid to stay. Other than those small inconveniences, I enjoyed staying and would stay again.

You are right by the main central station of Glasgow, so you have to expect an area that goes with such a position - lively and noisy - though didn't find that in the hotel itself (was on the 11th floor)! V good for restaurants and transport.

Great hotel service comfy beds. Very quiet hotel

Basically the pictures make it look 5 star and it’s 2 stars haha. No bin, no fridge, couldn’t even get a bottle of water. It’s a motel for sure, ironic name.

Bed comfort

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The staff, as always, were really friendly and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived.
