Just take note the site states breakfast is till 10.30am but actually it's 7.30am to 9.00am! They must have told me during check in but I didn't remember and checked the site for confirmation but in the end missed breakfast. Love the spacious space I get in the dorm. Very comfy super single bed too (which you seldom won't get this comfortable at this amazing price). It is overall a good experience staying but still the noisy from a huge dorm of 10+ people, built with non sound absorbent material means your sleep could be disturbed.
- Backpacking
It was a great place to stay, the staff was so nice and its located in a strategic place. All things are great except they don't provide a lift (we were staying at 4th level).
- Backpacking
Nice. I will come back if I come to Singapore next time.

An easy way to finding food and transportation. Good service too!
The hostel is generally clean, well-decorated and comfortable but the towels and bedsheets should be replaced because they’re quite worn out and discoloured. My towel even had holes on them. Also, the breakfast menu is very limited and served from 7am to 9am. My friends and I went down to the common area, where they serve the breakfast and supposedly unlimited coffee and tea all day (but mostly just tea outside of breakfast time) just before 9 and all that’s left was coffee and tea as well as white bread and three choices of spreads. When we asked the staff on duty if they were going to serve more eggs, all he said was “Finished”. It’s quite disappointing and as we saw previous reviews on the hostel showing more breakfast items. Other than that, good value for money if you’re just there for not more than 3 nights. It’s walking distance from the Chinatown MRT station and I guess it’s one of the most decent hostels in the area.
Good bed. Great location. But breakfast is not so nice.

Very humble and helpful staff. the bed and bathroom is okey. it's an recommended for staying. it's very clear to saw how it's different with another hostel. see you again later
- Backpacking
Great location. Great proximity to attractions, food, and metro system. Staff was helpful and young. Would definitely recommend staying here. Bunks were a little small for me, I like to stretch out when I sleep, I’m 5’6.
- Backpacking
the price is reasonable, nice staff
- Family vacation
We had such a nice stay at Adler. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is also quite close to almost the attractions of Singapore. Cozy bunk bed, but it was a bit cold due to air-con’s high intensity. Highly recommended.

Great hostel and helpful staff!
Really nice and clean hostel! The beds have curtains so that you have privacy and there are quiet hours between 10pm-8am so that you can always get a good nights sleep! The bathrooms were nice although the showers weren't hot (even after turning the water heaters on). The wifi was excellent- really speedy. The breakfast was nice although finished really early at 9am which is extremely annoying!! Especially when you're on holiday so want a lie in. In my opinion this should be extended until 10:30/11am. The staff were really helpful and it is in a great location in China Town.

Ok for 2 nights
Well... the staff and lobby were incredibly nice. Would not say the same about the sleeping chambre or the toilet/shower. Breakfast was simple and boring. But it was cheap and china town is lively part of the town, so I'd say give it a go.

Fun and valued days at Adler Hostel
Valued for money. Quite convenient location. We just walk for 2 minutes for Chinatown MRT station. Clean and safe. Pleased with comfortable beds when we booked 12-bed dom for kids & ladies... But breakfasts are poor...

A Bed for the Night
This hostel is located in the heart of Chinatown and a mere 5 minute walk from the MRT Station. Its location is perfect for experiencing an older part of Singapore. But, I think the main strength of this unique hostel is that it is in a heritage building which has been re-purposed as a hostel. It has maintained the facade and a lot of the interior design. This creates the feel of the past. The main issue is that if your room is facing onto the main road, it could be noisy. Singapore is a city that never seems to sleep.

Amazing staffs but no atmosphere
I stayed here for one night while I was on an intership in Singapore. The place is not really a luxurious place, but rather just a regular hostel. I found their advertisement bit misleading as there is nothing luxury about this place. The lobby looks well decorated with antique old classy style but other parts of the building is nothing of luxury. However, on the bright side, the staffs here were amazing in providing service to the customer. Checking in went smooth (used an IPAD) and the staff member was very thorough in explanation of the rules. They had lots of great recommendations when asked for one. This is what all hostels provide nowaday but they kept the luggage for me after checking out. I accidently dropped my passport in the lobby during my check out and Cally emailed to me right away and kept it there for me to retrieve it. I couldn't appreciate her more. The bed I received had a broken curtain. The staff was willing to change it for me to a different bed but they were all located in the upper bunk bed (I specifcally wanted the lower bunk bed). So I just ended up with this one with the broken curtain. Not so much of a complain about this but seeing how they advertise themself as great and elegant, it was not so true in this case. Also, sadly, the place has 0 atmosphere for a solo travller. You can't engage in a conversation with the other guests here. This hostel is not for you if you seek to meet other travellers and share the stories and make friends. Having said that though, this hostel provide good privacy for the guest. All beds have curtains to ensure your own privacy. I think the price may be overpriced for what they offer but I've had a really comfortable stay, mostly due to the exceptional service I received from the staff so I would give it a four star. I would consider this place as a second option if I ever go back to Singapore.
