An affordable place
Good for 1 or 2 days living in Singapore with an low expense, you just need to have good preparation in groceries. And attention! Check in place close after 11pm, we have to stand outside at 12pm as we don't have Singapore cell phone number until we find out that we can use roaming to call the owner.

Worst Stay - Dirty and Uncomfortable
I and my friend decided to stay here because it looked good in the photos. We got there late and couldn't find any other places to stay. It was just one night so we tried to put up with it. But man where should I begin with this hostel. It was dirty and a little bit smelly. I felt like we were waling in a shared-house rather than a hostel. Uncomfortable environment and unprofessional. - The bathroom was dirty. My friend found the toilet unflushed. - The room was terrible; so dark, people hang things everywhere in the room - No shoe allowed but I saw the owner (yes the owner he talked to me and he told me he is the owner) wore shoes in the room. - Staffs even sleep in the bed in the same room as customers. - There were two cats which was fine. But the poop tray was in the middle of the path, at some point they got into the room and jumped onto my bed. If you're a female. Do not book this hostel.

Don't be fooled by the quirky photos. This hostel is terrible- unprofessional unfriendly and dirty. We arrived 3am flight from Sydney so booked room for whole night previous to get some much needed rest. We were very clear with hostel ( on booking) and with booking.com that we required 24hr check in. We rang booking.com to check and it was all ok according to them but we were unable to get Moni Gallery to answer phone or email. On arrival everything is closed and dark and we were let into foyer by ? guest. No manger for over an hour and my family slept on the floor. When someone located a person to find us our room he was very unfriendly and almost upset with us for the inconvenience. All 8 of us were split up across the hostel and shown to mixed rooms only to disturb other guests at 6am. Showers were cold and toilets were dirty with no paper. Second night we were given 8 beds together on the floor of a large room that the cats liked to frequent. Kitchen area was foul and we never even took risk with tea/ coffee ( no milk seen ) Do not take your family to this hostel. You will regret it.

Dirty and Uncomfortable Environment
We arrived around 11pm at night, they wrote late check in please call, we made few attempts to call, took us quite some time to get to the person. When we finally checked in, as usual we will settle down and unpack our stuff. There were dusts on the bed, and spider webs on the wall. I have allergy issues, so I had to put another piece of cloth on the pillow before I sleep so I won't wake up with a pig face in the morning. We booked a room for 4, the whole place was very stuffy, and the first night we arrive, I saw something in our room. Obviously I did not tell my friends to prevent from ruining the whole trip until another friend spoke out today after we checked out, she saw it too. Both of us did not get to rest a all. It was always in our room and also the corner of M5 room chair... Then there were couples having sex in the public toilet =_= The toilet was not clean at all, I had to wear my slippers when I shower. And it takes forever to wait because the number of bathroom was so little. Also, I wold like to suggest the owner to be more alert for people who check in late, also on cleanliness + maybe at least put a water dispenser. Really really bad experience for us.
