This hotel doesn’t provide food but there is a mini fridge in the room and the drinks are free of charge and replenished daily. The beds are super comfy. Nice little balcony. Lovely bathroom and toiletries. Very quiet hotel. Nice area, again quiet, but only 15 minutes slow walk to old town through other nice areas. Lovely staff.

Hotel Trueba was a great hotel to stay in. It is 5 minutes to the beaches and to the Old City. It is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of stores around. The hotel was great...very clean, new amenities, great room service, pretty large size rooms. We really enjoyed staying there and would stay there again.

The whole hotel was very clean. Our room was modern and well cared for. Breakfast was great. It was more than a basic continental breakfast with bread, cereal, and fruit. There were meats, cheeses, tomato for “pan tumaca.” Check in was easy. The staff was really friendly. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff treated us to a glass of wine. It was hot out and I don’t sleep well in the heat so I was grateful that the air conditioning in the room was top notch. The location was perfect - lots of great bars and restaurants just a block or two away. The beach is also really close. We will stay here again when we return!

This hotel is well situated near the surfing beach. It is well placed for restaurants, etc, and about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station (how I arrived) and the old town. It provides beach towels to its guests. The staff was friendly and conversant in English. I was very pleased with my stay. It provides water bottles for its guest (the first one is free, the second one should be paid on an honor system) and coffee in the morning (again payment is on an honor system).

Clean, spacious, comfortable, and accommodating and lovely staff! Location is central and close to old town and other surrounding vacinities. Only down side was the noise. It faces a very busy, main road and people are out late and hanging out at shops below. Additionally, street cleaners came by which was exceptionally noisy. I got about 2.5 hours sleep. If I had packed earplugs I think it would have been better. This was the only downfall.
