What Guests Say About Their Stay

RICHARD P

We enjoyed Silver Legacy very much. Very nice rooms, good view of Reno and the Mts. in the distance, good coffee in the rooms, etc. Also, compared to, e.g., Bally's in Tahoe, it had plenty of working elevators; thus, there was hardly ever a long wait. The entire complex had a good variety of dining choices (although, the fancier ones had bizarrely high prices with, i.e., a steak for $75). This was also true of the big Casino hotels in Tahoe. One minus was that, we went back to stay there again on the day we had to fly out at 10:50pm and we were leaving on the 8:30 shuttle. They charged us $39 for checking in one and a half hours before regula check in time AND charged us the Resort Fee (and we didn't use any of those features). Otherwise, we were extremely happy with the resort.

Great spot for a stay in Reno. Nice room, wonderful bathroom, pleasant staff. The only issue was check-in. Understaffed with only 2 people at the desk. Ceasars is trying to get people to sign up for their reward card and do self check-in. Numerous stations for self check-in. Huge line for those us who don't want to sign up for another card!

I did not mostly like, their slots. So, so tight! I'll never gamble there again. Hardly a little hit after about 20 spins, then another 20 spins or so. Hardly no pay outs, people were all complaining. All the restaurants are way to expensive. No deals or specials, in any of the restaurants. I know prices have gone up- but the prices on their menu's are ridiculous. I gambled at the different casinos, they call - on the Row. Every casino's pay outs were horrible. Not worth the trip to Reno any longer. If you have nice casinos near by where you live, it's better to stay close by home. I have to say, the bedding & pillows were pretty comfortable. Also, smells musty- needs better air quality.

Not my first choice next time to be honest, all based on room temperature. Definitely could use more air circulation in the rooms, it was warm on the coolest setting. I ended up staying an extra night and switched rooms and the same issue. It’s not really a “issue” it’s their settings. I went and bought a box fan. Their elevators situation needs work. On a weekend one should be able to expect more than one elevator to work for such a populated hotel. I hadn’t taken into account the 30+ minute wait for an elevator the first morning. Besides that, the room was clean, the beds comfy, the room was dark. Showers had good pressure and a nice grab and go cafe downstairs. Check-in was great and the staff was all helpful!

Seems like hospitality took a nose dive it hasn't recovered from since COVID. Check in was slow, the self check in does not work, then the self checkout took 3 trys, just slow and not very effective. Bed was lumpy, pillows were lumpy, worst night in a hotel in a very long time. Room was clean and modern, just got sold a bill of goods on the beds!

The hotel is old, even with renovation, it still feels old and outdated. They charge $40 resort fees, which is misleading when they advertise the pride, but there is not much amenity. It is really NOT a resort. It feels like a 3-star motel. Don’t let the name fool you. Book other casinos or hotels.
