The Eddy Hotel Tucson Tapestry Collection by Hilton

We actually live in Tucson, and had a plumbing emergency, so we had to stay at a hotel for about a week. The Eddy is a brand-new hotel, in a great location, priced very reasonably, compared to other hotels in the Catalina Foothills area, so we decided to give it a try. It's very nice - nothing too fancy, but the rooms are comfortable, and we appreciate the modern walk-in shower and lots of counter space in the bathroom! The restaurant was very good too - a great take on southwestern cuisine! Plus, for visitors, it's located in the north central area, so it's close to just about everything!

Nice staff! Free charging is why we picked this hotel! Everything is just a bonus!!

Food was excellent Lady who served our meals in the evening was very helpful,made great suggestions for our choices of food and coctails. Great hotel with lots of comfortable areas inside and outside to hang out

I’m only giving 4 starts because I booked a room and the balcony is not the same size as pictured. False advertising by Hotels.com It was disappointing to hear they didn’t even have a balcony that Hotels.com pictured.

Check in was not particularly friendly - just matter of fact woman asked for credit card for incidentals. No welcome, no reminder when to check out, or intro to any ammenities. She told us where to park as there is no signage on the building. Room was clean and enjoyed bathroom design & tile choices. Went to put away perishables in fridge but it was barely cool- took till the next day around checkout to obtain true refridgeration- too late for us. They would have switched our room but we were too busy after check in. Keureg coffee machine didnt work though we tried several times. Went hunting to make our own coffee with cups provided in room but the microwave was so disgustingly dirty I didnt want to use it. I mentioned it the first day to the front desk but the next morning it was still dirty- see pic. Shower and sink water were just warm, which was slightly disppointing as I wanted a hot shower. Pool and whirlpool were pretty- pool temp nice and warm, but whirlpool not wonderfully warm. Comfortable bed and pillows, TG. That is a Hilton trademark! A curious lack of signage throughout the hotel & room made us wonder about alot of things, such as how to adjust room temperature, and what was considered recyclable vs. garbage in our room. When returning to our room around 11:30AM we found our key inoperable. We were locked out- so another walk to the front desk, no apology, recieved a working keycard. The noon checkout is wonderful but please abide by it. Other issues existed.

Overall a good stay for a fair price. Most staff was helpful except one front desk person I feel might be better off behind the scenes and not be the face of the hotel as the individual didn’t seem to me to be highly into the service aspect. Others were very good. There were problems with water coming out of the shower onto the floor. Restaurant at dinner is excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Pool and hot tub were enjoyable .

Staff great ! Personally I don’t like the fan in bathroom comes on automatically and you can’t turn it off - very loud and annoying!

our first room had a running water sound in the bathroom that was loud and annoying .The front desk person moved us to another room which was fine.

It’s ok, just somewhat impersonal. A “lanai” normally describes a balcony more that 2 feet wide… a microwave and a bathtub would have been nice

This was a great hotel. We thought the beds were great, the room was big and very clean. The only problem was the snarly gentlemen at the front desk, either they were busy on their phones or just not in the mood to answer a question. When the ladies were at the front desk, they were quite approachable and helped with a small, correctable problem. And now about the restaurant . . . We thought the dinner was so good we ate there numerous times. The chef really was a credit to the hotel as well as the bartenders! Outstanding staff.

Property was great ..Our shower had no hot water and also the body wash was empty,so we used soap.

Problems with the TV, annoying, not a mayor problem

The Eddy is delight; a gem. The rooms, the indoor and outdoor spaces are wonderfully designed, decorated and furnished. The place is spotless. We encountered some minor issues that we raised that I'm sure will be addressed in time.

I stayed here 2 nights. The room was great-very clean and updated. My only issue was the service at the cafe downstairs. It was very slow. There wasn’t much to grab and go, or I would've just done that. I don’t think they had enough help and the woman who was there seemed nice, but overwhelmed. The wait was too long on Sat, but Sunday I waited and the food was very good.

Wonderful hotel -- felt new, clean, updated and a really nice vibe with interesting decor, lovely pool, outdoor firepits and indoor gathering places. Also in a great location near lots of restaurants and shops without being right in the middle of the city.
