A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. Only point of note is if you wish to dine in their partner (next door) restaurant , best to reserve in advance , as it was fully booked (despite being almost empty!) at 630pm. But- more choice available in nearby Doué-la-Fontaine about 10 mins drive . Would thoroughly recommend this family run hotel as a stop-off on the long drive south from Calais, or for short excursions into the Saumur area.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed on a Sunday so the bar closed at nine but the lady on duty made sure that we were ok for drinks before she left. Good WiFi in the room, and we enjoyed a generous breakfast in the large conservatory dining room. We will definitely use this hotel again.

Clean and efficient. Not convenient for anywhere to eat out on foot. Quiet at night . Good breakfast.

Good comfortable hotel, convenient for Saumur etc.

Room was clean, however the bathroom was not great. Tthere was a large clump of hair in the shower drain and a shower chair for the elderly that wouldn't close out of the way. I took the quickest shower of my life to get out of there.

It was on a roundabout. Food bad but people were nice.

very quiet location. no restaurant so we had to go into the village. sign said breakfast available at 0630, but the owner would not serve until 0800 and we had to leave without. We suspect too little business to make it worthwhile.

Hôtel très bien pour un passage court. Des employés adorable ! Un petit rafraîchissement ne ferais pas de mal à l’hôtel. Très bon point pour le grand parking et le resto juste à côté !

Comme généralement dans tous les hôtels Original City, hôtel très convenable par apport au prix . Un grand merci à la demoiselle de l accueil qui m a prêté un chauffage d appoint…et à sa gentillesse

Établissement idéal pour une nuit. Confortable à souhait. Proche restaurant. Petit déjeuner un peu juste si on arrive après 9h

Avis donné précédemment ! mais ça me donne l'oportunité de préciser que le bruit vient de la route mais que les fenetres fermées on n'entends rien ! c'etait à préciser !

Un accueil bien agréable ! nous y sommes resté 2 nuits en fin de compte ! nous avons pu constaté le 2eme jours ou nous avons pris le petit dejeuner, que celui ci etait tres varié copieux ! le service à votre écoute tres sympatique avec un super sens de l'accueil !çela fait plaisir d'avoir de jeunes personnes au sourire aux lèvres! exemple à suivre petite parenthèse! très bon séjour aux prochains visiteurs !

Chambre proposé wc et douche pas de fenêtre mais éclairé par une simple applique alimenter par des piles ? Qui ne fonctionnaient pas (piles hs) Apres notre demande de changer de chambre on nous a proposé une autre chambre seul probleme température excessive pour cause passage de tuyaux d eau chaude dans le sol Seule moyen de se rafraichir un ventilateur sur pied a disposition dans la chambre mais peu d effet Personnels adorables et serviable A part la chambre le sejour c est bien passé

Hotel à atmosphère chaleureux, jolie décoration et propre. Grand lit et salle de bain spacieuse Le seul petit bémol, lorsque l'on dort coté rue (chambres numéros pairs) , c'est bruyant passage intense de voitures et de camions

OK Hotel für eine Übernachtung auf Durchreise. Hotel ist etwas weit weg vom Schuss. Das Restaurant nebenan ist sehr gut.
