The staff are very helpful the facilities are clean and well placed

The room smelt so bad (like old stink socks and cooking) we could not stay. I don't understand all the good reviews as this whole place is run-down and needs an overhaul! I think it was also emergency housing

Loved our night at the Traveller's Inn, on arrival our payment was processed quickly and we were shown to our rooms and even offered help with our bags! The rooms were very nice, clean comfortable beds, bathroom clean and hygienic tape over toilet to show its clean! All kitchen necessities, kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave and a free snall bottle of milk for tea and coffee, a nice touch! One room we had a whitetail which was removed by Stephen and he left us with bug dpray just in case, after returning from dinner we found another and removed tgat one too and advised Stephen on our leaving and he was apologetic and will ensure the room is checked! Really enjoyed staying here and will definitely be staying again and 100% recommend! Thank you to Stephen and team for a lovely stay

The motel is a little older but well looked after, clean & tidy. The unit was just the right size, with 2 beds, a small kitchen and a tidy bathroom. The shower head was great with excellent water pressure! We received clean towels and bathroom amenities each day of our stay. Host was lovely and very helpful. Town, restaurants, supermarkets only a short 4min drive up the road. Would highly recommend for those on a budget.

Would recommend this hotel stay to all of my whanau and friends x. The property is clean and tidy nice comfy bed and the staff are very friendly and helpful. 10/10

Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, Sky tv. Very small room and bathroom, no wardrobe, ok for us as we really only slept there. Parts of it had been refurbished but there was a door with damage to it and a blind and a window needing repair. Possibly also used for emergency housing? Reasonable price point.

Big thanks to the owner of this property. Without his help we would have lost our money. Agency from America gave the wrong date. After 2and half hours we finally settled it all thanks to the owner.

Was an awesome stay

The motelier (Stephen) was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home, as soon as we arrived. If you have been driving all day, from Wellington to Gisborne, the last thing that you need is a non-friendly person to meet you, but Stephen was totally awesome/wonderful. The motel was very quiet too. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was refreshing. I will stay at this motel again.
