Great stay. Service was commendable, room was clean, and I enjoyed the complimentary wine and breakfast.

While the room was clean and comfortable, I was very disappointed with the surprise $34 “amenities fee” that was charged at check-in. This fee was mandatory and supposedly covered access to the gym and breakfast—but it felt like a hidden cost that should have been made clear before booking. If I had known, I would have chosen a different hotel. As for the breakfast, it was underwhelming: just stale bagels, two types of pastry, and some oatmeal. No eggs, no cheese, no hot options—definitely not worth the extra charge. The room also didn’t have a hairdryer, which is a basic amenity most hotels provide. Overall, a nice room overshadowed by poor transparency and disappointing services. Feels like a modern form of robbery.

This was a last minute decision and it ended up being a good one. Loved the complimentary wine and cheese, location to the golden bull, Battery park and loads of places to eat. Enjoyed that there is a coffee shop across the street and an Irish pub for evening cocktail and snack.

I stayed as a solo traveller at The FiDi in March 2025, I stayed in a Superior King Room. The room itself was spacious, I didn't feel crammed in. The room had a very comfortable bed and a wonderful décor including a big TV. The bathroom was also spacious, the shower provided hot water at a good force. The hotel provided shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower cubicle a long with hand wash and hand cream next to the basin. Two bottles of water are provided daily by housekeeping but if you go to the second floor you can also refill them with ice cold water from the dispensers (this is also handy for refilling your own water bottles before you head out). There was just one storage spot in the room that doubles as a closet but that was fine for me, might be more of an issue if you're bringing a lot of luggage/clothing. The room also has a variety of lighting options to set the mood. There's no fridge or iron in the room. I didn't require the fridge but one can be provided, the front desk and housekeeping did provide me with a steamer which was actually a better idea than an iron and board clogging up the room. Housekeeping come once a day and importantly are very good at their job. My room was always spotless when I came back with fresh towels also left. The staff on reception are the stars of the show, naturally. You see them all the way through your trip and go out of their way to help you. Shout out to Glen and Santea on reception. Hotel is close to Subways too.

The hotel exterior wasn't the most appealing it didn't give that i must stay here look if you're looking for a hotel. The lobby was small and dimly lit but the employees at the front desk were very nice and polite , they made sure all my information was accurate and in order. As far as the room only issues i had was that it was kinda small and it was dimly lit as well , other than that it was very clean and comfortable.

Third time staying here. Not a bad spot for anyone in New York looking for something quieter than the usual stay.

The rooms are always clean and well thought out- even the smaller ones. The staff is super helpful and goes above and beyond! Close to Stone Street and London Martin.

The staff here were super friendly, helpful and professional. My room was small but the amenities were great, and most importantly the room was so quiet- which is rare in New York!

It was a nice stay. The location was very convenient for visiting the financial district/wall street area. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable. I only wish there were a few more amenities in the room like a minifridge and a luggage rack. The bathroom didn't have enough space for my things. I didn't like the cheap bed frame because I kept hitting my feet on it. The bed itself was comfortable and I liked the nice sheets and pillows. For the price, it was perfect!
