About EN-LAB.

"HidB Taiko Workshop Kyoto" is a Japanese drumming (Wadaiko) studio located in the heart of Gion, Kyoto. Conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk from Keihan Gion-shijo Station, we offer an accessible and authentic Taiko drumming experience, even for absolute beginners. With English-speaking staff always on hand, our studio is a popular choice for international travelers and families. During the workshop, you will have the chance to play the drums while immersing yourself in Japanese traditional culture and the philosophy of "Shin-Gi-Tai" (Mind, Skill, and Body). We operate on a reservation-only basis with small group sizes, ensuring personalized and attentive instruction for every participant.
