Sanderson London, a Morgans Originals hotel

The Sanderson is in many ways a great hotel, but the rooms are in a poor state of maintenence. The handheld shower fixture was so badly chipped that one of the of sharp edges resulted in cuts to 2 fingers, lots of blood, and a trip to the hospital. Dangerous!

Nice hotel. A little worn around the edges. The room was comfortable with nice design elements but a little impractical. The lack of door on the bathroom was interesting and the bathroom lacked basic supplies (cotton buds, shower cap etc.) that you'd expect for a 5* property. That said the hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly, including organising a nice birthday surprise for my partner.

excellent room. air conditioning works great. breakfast is amazing and includes hot and continental. we enjoyed our stay.

Disappointing Service Undermines a relatively nice property. I had high expectations given its reputation and pricing. On the positive side, the location is excellent, the room was spacious, and the modern aesthetic is appealing. However, the experience was consistently let down by service issues. Roughly 50% of interactions with staff were negative in some way, usually ending with an apology from management. These weren’t isolated incidents, but part of a clear pattern suggesting a lack of proper training or oversight. While apologies came frequently, they felt like a substitute for the meaningful investment needed to improve the guest experience. At no point during my stay did the service meet 5-star standards. Key issues included: • Initial room change required due to cleanliness issues, continued during stay until management intervention • TV Remote control randomly missing from the room • Faulty window blinds requiring engineer visit • Breakfast incident where I was incorrectly profiled as someone who might leave without paying, despite having signed the check was challenged whilst eating(!), signed check at my table ... challenged for payment/signature again on exit and challenged a third time on the way to the elevator with the caveat statement that "we've had many people leave without paying (!) The pattern of errors and missteps left a lasting impression, I can't imagine how the Sanderson merits a 5-star rating.

I had a truly wonderful stay at [Hotel Name]. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and well taken care of. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, The location was perfect, and the facilities were excellent — whether it was the restaurant, the concierge, or housekeeping, the service was consistently top-notch. A special thanks to the staff specially (ALI) for going above and beyond to ensure my stay was smooth and enjoyable.

Loved the customer service at the Sanderson! Staff are all very sweet and helpful. They have wonderful amenities and things to do at the hotel. The decor is stunning.

It was like coming home. I stayed there years ago and it was still the same and still perfect

The pre-paid breakfast was amazing. Best hotel pre-paid breakfast for our entire European trip (Amsterdam, Antwerp, and Paris). The accommodations were pleasant and staff were outstanding.

Helpful and extremely pleasant staff. Convenient location. Interesting decor, though getting a bit worn. Disappointed by bathroom - no grab bars for aging folks or people with special needs. Wonderfully quiet despite nearby construction and central location.

Upgraded to a superior room.... amazing. Hotel was super clean, modern and friendly. I highly recommend getting the breakfast option. Great wayvtovstart the day. Ill be back ...again.

As always my stay was amazing. The staff are incredible and make every effort to make your stay comfortable. I’ll be back at the Sanderson soon and am looking forward to it
