My 2nd time staying at this place. the location is very convenient for those traveling with no children or elderly. it is few meters to Tsim Tsa Tsui MRT station, about 50ms to Kowloon mosque and park. In addition for those who r looking for Halal food, there is a Hung Chinese Halal food in the next building (Chungking Mansion), tastes great yet for those who are looking for quite ambiance, you'd better find other areas to stay. the services are excellent. the facilities are enough for basic stay. I had an issue with my reservation but they settled it down with an immediate response. at the hotel itself, the staff tried to help us by providing us with some extra facilities with minimum cost to make sure that we enjoyed our stay there.

The staff is kind and helpful. Although fitting check in and check out crowded, they are orderly origin we queue well. The room is quite nice for us ber5 with an extra bed one floor. The water in his room was smooth. So far, we really love dsini. Mirador mansion is nice because it's not too crowded like chungking. Liftnya was not ngantri berminit-minute longest just 3 minutes to wait for the turn. Although this is a settlement with people and many other hostels as well, nothing is annoying and nothing is scary. We are so happy staying here for 4 nights, the room is big enough for 5. We just realized that they provide tea and milk (milk milo) free in the next door and they provided hot water too.

Cheap and Easy Access
Ok You have to remember when going to look for Cheap Hotel that you shouldn't expect too much. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: We booked in the cheapest room so we were not expecting much. I stayed in the hotel just yesterday for a weekend event. So just to be fair, I will write the pros and cons Pros -Easy Access to MTR ( train station) 2 blocks away - Near Drop-off of Airport City Bus (A21) in Cameron Road -Opposite street for the going back to Airport -Walking distance in Avenue of stars -Near malls Silvercord and K11 etc - accessible to restaurant, convenience store and grocery - Average English speaking concierge - No cockroach in our room -Cheap , cheap , cheap Cons - Rooms are small ( but functional ) - Always offer upgrade - hot water has schedule - no towel ( expensive rooms have towel) - no tv remote - blanket dirty - elevators have schedule - scary building but seems safe. -concierge is not 24 hours. Make sure to claim your deposit before they close opens at 9:00 am and close 1 am . The only bad experience I have was when we were ready to check in. They were offering us a room with just fan. But we insisted on an Aircon since its May and its hot. After a few discussions they gave us the room. After all we just want what we paid for. I will stay here again hopefully they will improve because I really love the location which is so convenient. One last make sure you read everything about the booking so that you wont have complains.

don't stay here
I had to book a hotel at short notice in Hong kong and as the was abig trade show at the time April 14th 2012. I had to take what I could at a reasonable price. The room we got was a standard double 2 single beds air con and TV no window and shared toilet and shower. not very clean and very noisey. There was always a que at the lift.

cheap but not recommended
it is located in an old building. we got stuck in the elevator for about 10mins! that was totally scary! the room we had was very small. when we sat in each of our beds, our knees would touch. there was no space for our luggages, they dont fit even on the floor so we had to put them on our beds! the floor of the super tiny bathroom was not even so when we took a bath and whenever the bathroom floor got wet, we would slide sideways. very scary! you might bump your head on the wall or on the floor. everything was small and tight. there was only one outlet so my friend and i would take turns charging our phones and cameras. we thought this hostel was very nice. we were deceived by the pictures in their website! there was even a confusion in the booking, we heard other tourists complaining. the other rooms in the same floor were owned by other people. there were clothes and linens hanging on the corridors and their doors. dirty surroundings. dirty building. worst place i have ever stayed!

Great location, hideous hostel
We stayed 3 nights in a 10 person dorm - booked the friendship hostel but ended up in the USA hostel. Dorm was tiny and cramped with narrowest beds imaginable. Pretty dirty with tiny shower over toilet - felt like I was still in the room with everyone. Also the 24hr Internet was IN the dorm with the result that there was absolutely no privacy and the door was never shut....lots of hookers roaming about the place too! It looks nothing like the internet pictures But the location was cracking. I did not stay here when I returned to HK but in another guest house in the mansion which was bigger, cleaner and cheaper for a private room! Don't be afraid to bargain in HK- it pays off!
