Overall the cottage is good, but the bath room needs more maintenance for hot water and cleanliness
Amazing beach view from tower room, good services and easy to get restaurant also market
Location is good, but the air con doesn't work well, not cold enough. Also there are mosquito in the room
Because we're indonesian, I think the tissue toilet must be change to a shower
Grand Inn cottages is a good in cleanliness, meal, service but not in comport due to a lot of mosquitos outside room and in the room itself need to conduct fogging in frequently. Thank you
Good place to visit and stay long time
nice place and good service from the hotel
Strategic location in the center of Denpasar, sanur beach isn't the greatest with rough sand and not so exciting waves. Building is quite old while it's moderately clean, it's not a modern clean like most 5 star hotels.
Best hotel i've ever stay in, the best landscape and beach without any crowded people, fresh air that I can get
Not bad. Recommended for family vacation

We stayed at this hotel for one night and I'm glad it was only one night. Although it was close to the beach, that was the only good point. Although you can walk straight off the beach into the hotel rooms, no security. The room was so run down, the bathroom was so old and dirty definitely not worth $98 per night!!!

Hotel with good facilities
We only stayed one night but we thought the hotel had good facilities, quite a varied selection on the breakfast buffet, a lovely inexpensive Spa, making it very good value for money. We were also very lucky to have two bedrooms overlooking Sanur beach.

pros and cons
initially thought we were too far from restos etc. but easy to get a car from the lobby (50k to Massimo's) or walk 5 minutes to heaps of beach side places. first thoughts of the garden wing room were - it is big but the bathroom needs an upgrade NOW!! but we slept well every night, very quiet no roosters or crashing waves. and our room in the 1800 block was 10m to the beach path which was brilliant, we had a view of the garden and a part of the pool and the ocean from our balcony. my first thought of the breakfast was wow I have stepped back in time and walked in to Coles Cafeteria (if you are from Perth and old enough to remember you will know what I mean). Noisy, poor accoustics and comfort food etc! I also thought the brekky was average, but it did seem to either improve or I just got used to it. no complaints although no where near the best we have had. to summarise, overlook the minor cons and and it is great value. the pool was great but needed more pads for the lounges. Wi Fi was very good.

Good value and very pleasant
The hotel is a little out of the way however it offers a variety of accommodation from garden cottages to high rise accommodation in the "Tower". The grounds are extensive and well maintained. While parts of the hotel are older and show their age in small ways the rooms in the garden area were very comfortable and clean. The WIFI availability in all parts of the hotel was absolutely great and rates with the best I have experienced allowing are part to communicate via Whatsapp without any problems. The food at the restaurant was not over priced and very good. The breakfast spread has all the usual offerings and is more than satisfactory with good views from the dining area. As Sanur is my favoured destination in Bali I will definitely be visiting the Inna Grand again. The usual warnings apply to Bali- Dont change money at any location other than a bank or Hotel or risk being ripped off by "changers" who will arrive on a motor bike to serve you and take back a pile when they appear to be re-counting it. Offer to pay the toll to get you taxi to use the shorter new route via the toll road and avoid the traffic jams and delays. It only costs a couple of dollars.
Friends getaway - Jul 3, 2017
I booked to stay at the Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel for 2 nights, after backpacking around South East Asia with friends, before catching a flight home to England. I essentially chose this hotel because TripAdvisor reviews said the wifi was great. I was made to wait for over an hour while they found my booking and prepared my room. I was told to wait in the bar and redeem my complimentary welcome drink which was basically a shot of alcoholic tasting orange juice, and then the power kept cutting out so I was sitting in the dark. I was then told that my room was ready, and taken on a golf buggy to the 'Gardens Wing' only to have to wait another 30 mins to be taken to my room. The concierge was smiley but kept quizzing me on where I was from, where I was born and why I looked mixed race which was just inappropriate. I left a book at my previous hotel and couldn't ring the Indonesian number with my UK mobile,so asked reception if they could ring for me. I was told that I would have to pay 18k IDR per 3 mins to use the public phone, which then didn't really work as the power was still cutting out. I have never been to a hotel where the reception has not been able to ring somewhere for me, and then been charged for it? The hotel is also so large that it's a 10 minute walk down the driveway to get to a convenience store where I could buy cigarettes/crisps etc - harassed by more hotel staff about where I was from on the way there. A different concierge to the aforementioned was very unhelpful and originally told me I'd need a taxi to get to the shop, which I really didn't. To top it all off, I asked a cleaner if he knew how to turn my aircon up, only for it to take another hour for housekeeping to come, by which time I'd given up hope and was having a nap. I was then awakened by 2 housekeeping staff who hardly spoke English (if you are working in an international hotel this is kind of necessary) and brought in a ladder then started taking apart my ceiling, not telling me what on earth they were doing. Throughout, they were intermittently giggling and staring at me and I felt very uncomfortable and a bit creeped out. I am a small 19 year old girl and having 2 men in my room whom cannot communicate with me and don't understand me asking them to leave, is not okay. The superior garden suite room was nice and spacious but I had the delight of screaming children by the pool which my balcony overlooked. The bathroom is also a bit run down. After all that however, it was true that the wifi was great.
