5 Stars Hotels in Muroran, Japan

We (hubby and myself) stayed here for two nights intending to go to Noboribetsu's Hell Valley. Over all, the stay here was beyond our expectations. Locationwise, the hotel is just a short distance walk from JR station (Higashi-Muroran) and the bus terminal, where there are direct buses to and from CTS (bus takes about 1.5 hours). Right next to the hotel is Lawson, and restaurants are within walking distance. Parking is available at a cost. Noboribetsu is just 20 minutes train ride away. The room is small but clean. Has all the necessary amenities. Biggest impression was the staff. The receptionists were extremely helpful and went to great lengths to give us what we wanted/answered our questions. Several of them speak English very well so communications were not an issue. The onsen was quite nice too. The breakfast was OK. The hotel serves free hot noodles to guests at 2130.

Spacious and well equipped room. There are restaurant and JTB Travel inside. Located in walking distance to train station, department store and culinary scene.
