First go to room and have take a bath, we have the yellow water. Bad experience
All about very bes - love you Anantara.
Comfy bed, amazing breakfast, nice rooftop bar clean rooms and an easy stay.
Excellent. Now there are too many guests for the available elevators. Since the guests are fully booked by tour agents. The staffs are nice since my staying after the operation so they are much helpful. Even though, the problems has occurred from very busy the staffs have been trained well to solve the problems.
we had no bad experience during our stay, the check in and check out was smooth, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, it was quiet during the night. the staffs were all very nice and helpful. the hotel location is right in front BRT station and only 10-15 minutes walk to Chong Nonsi BTS station. there is also a family mart in front of the hotel, making it very convenient if you need to buy snacks or personal care products.
Good location. Right in the middle of the business district (Sathorn area).

Great service, prime location, good food
The staff at the hotel were awesome. They were always ready to help, very friendly and highly professional. I must thank the ones at Kesara Lounge for being perfect hosts. The team at the restaurant on level 2 were also very friendly, being professional with efficient services. We booked a suite with Kesara Lounge access and were delighted to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with lounge access. The kids loved the room we got. However, we were a little disappointed with the lounge as there were some renovation works going on and hence, some areas were not available. There are only 3 lifts in the building and, in the morning, it takes a long time to get from the top to the bottom during peak hours. It could not help that my kids and I got stuck one morning in the lift for a couple of minutes. Luckily, we could get out quite quickly. The staff were most apologetic and really, it was not their fault. It is just a busy tourist hotel with the crowds moving from one area to another. Breakfast area on level 2 was a circus in the morning with so many people trying to get a table and getting something to eat. We were fortunate to be able to have breakfast in the lounge. BTS is about a ten minutes far by walk and it is fairly easy to get there. For us who like to walk, it was relatively quick. For those who don't like walking or have very young children, it can be a little tedious.

My mother, my adult son and myself stayed in Room 603 which was a 2 bed roomed suite. Main room had a king bed and a large bathroom with shower and bath. Second room had twin beds and a shower bathroom directly opposite. Dining area\ lounge room which led out to a small balcony. It was spotlessly clean. Hotel breakfast was comprehensive and offered I believe something for everyone. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Cab ride to MBK shopping was 70-95 BHT depending on traffic and the Skytrain was 90 BHT for 3 people.

Spacious rooms with great views, but room for improvement in details and breakfast-handling
We had a 2 bedroom suite on the 31st floor, which was very modern and clean. Great views over Bangkoks skyline. Very friendly and mostly competent staff, nice pool with good snacks and pizza (at least for Bangkok comparison) here. Now the downsides: Unfortunately the rain-shower has no water pressure at all and the handshower fell off. They should simply invest a bit more money in German technology here. The breakfast situation is poorly managed, with people waiting for a table for 20 minutes, serving your coffee after 30 minutes. The problem is, that service is very fast to always remove the buffet in time at point 10.30 am. This may let you about 5 minutes to get your fried eggs, because this takes about 15 minutes, as there is only one person cooking them and all the custom-omelettes for more than a hundred guests. Meanwhile all the staff are drilled to clean up tables and obviously none of them is told to look after guests who may wish to have some simple things as salt oder another coffee. Maybe their f&b manager had a couple of days off. Also, it seems to help to display this extraordinary friendly and polite chinese attitude to impress the staff in fear - and get better service. The Reception and the lobby are too small. The rooftop-bar has fantastic views, but we experienced some weird drinks not worth their money - better stick to international basic compositions here, rather than trying their drinks, at least for the Gin. All-in-all, very good value for money however.

Old hotel but value for money
We together 10 persons and reserved two suite rooms. We stayed from 14/7-16/7, the rooms were spacious but a bit old in room decorations. Some dirts were found at the ceilings and bath room. Complimentary bed was provided upon request. The morning buffet with good standard.

Great hotel... tough traffic
We had an amazing time at the Anantara Sathorn for a 2 night stay. Beautiful hotel, great food, good central location and awesome rooftop bar with full 360 degrees views of Bangkok! The only downside is the persistent traffic between the hotel exit and the first intersection... litterally 30 minutes in the taxi for barely 1 km... better to walk to the intersection and grab a cab there!

Compliments to your Level 2 Restaurant Hospitality
My experience was absolutely superb from the team on Level 2 @ the Restaurant. A special thanks to one particular team member named Gra- Being Edk (Boom). He was personable, polite and most of all accomodating to any special request. His recommendations from the food and beverage menu was genuine and passionate. This hotel is very fortunate to have his professionalism and I would strongly recommend his services to my Network in Australia. He is the reason for my return to this establishment. Well Done Boom and keep up that great work!!!
