WARNING: Stay away from this place!
Dear Interns & Students, As someone who has spent 4 months at Purita, I feel highly obliged to advise everyone against moving into this kind of accommodation due to Scams, a totally ignorant and greedy housing caretaker (Natty) and a pricey internet connection, which doesn't work at all!! After several ridiculous attempts to get more money from me than agreed on, I was further refused by the only English speaking staff Natty to receive the contact details of the apartment owner to whom I wanted to complain. Also my deposit was not returned, although I acted in accordance with my contract, which stated that a termination of it could be done verbally. Geckos in the room and an often not working water heat regulation additionally underline why this apartment should be avoided. However, I have to express my sincere thanks to the cleaning service & security man. For everyone who is searching for an accommodation between 5000-9000 Baht, there are plenty of other opportunities neighboring, even including a gym & pool, which Purita does not have. Thailand is a great country. Do not let this struggle ruin your trip.

Good Choice for longterm stays!
As other people mentioned before already it is suitable for the ones living for longer time in Bangkok. I did rent an Appartment for almost 7 months, so for me it was perfect. The location is close to the BTS (10min) which makes it easy to get around. Facilities are all good and as soon as you have a problem they are trying to solve it within the day. It also gets cleaned once a week! 24 hour security men are really friendly and also willing to call you a taxi or help you with anything else during the time the reception is closed. Only Downside: WiFi! You have to buy it and even then it does not work really good because of the high amount of people using it. Better buy a bigger data volume for your phone!

Dont go there
Visited some friends there and booked 1 room. This was a bad exprience because of the staff is so unpolite, it's unbelievable. They don't smile and just say you "come to the reception". Furthermore it's definitely not worth the money, location is bad and there are other hotel that for this price have a pool and a gym.

Better for longer term stays than a few nights' hotel stay
We stayed here for 4 nights as it was very close to where our friend we were visiting lives. If you're adventurous and don't mind the alleyways and are looking for somewhere had decent and cheap, it's okay. However, we'd stayed at the Heritage Sathorn round the corner previously and to be honest I'd go back there now rather than the Purita, as they are a similar price. Main points I remember from our stay at the Purita: No free wifi No hairdryer in room No free bottle of water given daily. No twin rooms available Full payment must be made UPFRONT and IN CASH - this includes a deposit equal to the daily rate, but we had no problem getting the deposit back, no quibbles Almost no English spoken by staff And our room smelled - however our travelling companions' room was fine so maybe just one of those things.
