If you don't mind about the red district, this place is actually great! the hotel is small with low ceiling, the staff are friendly even just some people can speak english, but its okay. the breakfast is actually nice for a small hotel, it have a lot of choices and they are nice to give us 'excluded' room knowing we bring one year old baby. the location is closed to many places, mall and BTS, many street food. but the traffic is unbearable! if you go with family, make sure you go home maximum at 10pm thanks God we live in Jakarta, traffic is like breathing lol definitely will go back here
Wonderful locations with bathtub!
There is quite good, breakfast, room and service.
Very good stay for the price you are paying. Overall experience was good. 1) The sound insulation is not too good, the music bass sounds from clubs nearby travels into your room easily especially on weekend night. Door sound insulation can be improve as we can hear the janitor's room or next room's door opening/closing clearly. 2) Location is good, 5 min walking to BTS Nana station. 3) Staff service is not bad. 4) Daily breakfast is not bad, but some varieties for different day would be even better.
The location is good. 15 mins walking to Terminal21. The superior room is rather small but love the theme and the staff was attentive and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great. So many options. Walls are thin though. We can hear fellow guest's coughing from the other room.
Location is beside a bar, not really good area, around 700 meters to the nearest skytrain station, not good area for business or family.
It's a very good hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
Very good hotel and good breakfast.
The hotel is very clean, pretty interior and confortable. The location is also great, near BTS Nana
Near from Nana BTS station, great location, and you also can walk to terminal 21 mall not really far indeed. If you hungry at night there's also selling many food street.

Good but not perfect
I stayed here for 4 nights a week ago, I booked a standard room and at check in the reception lady quickly suggested I check the room and also the deluxe room. Once I saw the standard room I understood why, it was small and the bathroom was poor, cramped and tired with a crappy old curtain blocking anyone from seeing in. I went up to the top floor and checked the deluxe room and it was chalk and cheese, large and spacious with a fantastic bathroom with huge bath tub and separate shower. I instantly agreed to pay for an upgrade and was happy I did. The room had good A/C and the bed was very comfortable, the rooms are quiet and have a nice look and feel. Each day the breakfast was ok but not brilliant (bacon would be nice) and the staff were always polite. On the first day I noticed a water leak near the toilet under the hand basin with water along the floor, after telling reception it took until the 2nd last day for anyone to look at it (only after I bumped into the elusive maintenance man myself) and he failed to fix the problem. As I was using one towel per day to absorb the water I needed my room made up each day, on the 3rd day I went out at 1030am and mentioned the leak again and asked for it to be fixed and the room cleaned. On returning at 430pm the room was not cleaned and the leak not fixed, keep in mind there is only 6 rooms on the whole floor and the cleaner was cleaning rooms there when I went out. When complaining to front desk staff I was always told the same thing "we don't know where the maintenance person is" and "The manager is not here" overall this hotel is nice but I think there are better for the money paid and I was led to believe this hotel was right near the BTS at the top of soi 11 when in fact it is quite far down the street especially when lugging a suitcase after getting off the BTS. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

It's definitely overrated and for this price you get way better hotel in soi 11
Can't complain, but nothing over the top like it's reviews suggest. For the same price I'm now staying at the hotel right opposite and it's a huge room with lounging area inside the standard room. Almost like a studio apartment. I found room in Salil too small and compact. Lighting inside the room is very dark and for someone who needs makeup and likes the sunlight, this didn't work. The hotel itself is cutely decorated just that room felt very stuffy. Breakfast was good with lot of choices. Staff weren't as attentive or friendly unlike everywhere in Bangkok. My husband pointed a staff that they ran out of yogurt for a refill and the staff just said 'finished'. Wouldn't stay here again as we can find way better places for this price in the same area.

Nice and cozy
Normally daytime in Bangkok can be boring for tourists. I was in Bangkok during the morning period, so not much to do outside. Salil hotel came for my rescue. Room was cozy yet modern. WiFi was good and ample TV to watch and room service was efficient. Breakfast buffet was decent and staff were very friendly. My only gripe was that the bed was a little uncomfortable. Otherwise deserves a 5 rating.

Compact but comfortable in a lively location.
The rooms aren't huge, but comfortable. The staff are very friendly led by Wan and Rainy in the breakfast room and Jenny at reception. The location is in a South Asia part of Bangkok with many Indian and Arab restaraunts and many stalls selling souveneirs. There is a convenience store, supermarket and many places to eat nearby. It's also very close to a train station which is a bonus. No outlet for a shaver in the bathroom is a shame.

Good choice for bangkok
This hotel is on soi 11, very easy to get to from the airport or to move around the city Rooms are not big but they are cozy and decently clean. Noise is a problem if you are a light sleeper. Did not try breakfast
