We needed a place to land for one night in San Diego. Loved how unique the Dextro is. The location was great for walking to Little Italy and the room was comfortable and great for two!

The dextro hotel stay was alright .easy driving access fitted in to my venue. Specifically. To little Italy location . Manager Antonio was great about switching my room out for another w/ a different view. Staff in general were helpful & friendly I thought . Shout out to restraunt staf Ruby & Co.. Dextro Breakfast itself was Very good . Moving on : the room itself was decent. I wasn’t crazy about the bathroom sliding door nor is there a fan in said bathroom . Could use more lighting as well I thought in BR. Shower Water pressure was lackluster imo but it was the 12 th floor , so… room beds were nice . Soft as can be . Very comfortable. Lastly , garage parking is $35 a day While this may be commonplace to a degree , I still found that price a bit high . All in all I would cone back to stay at the dextro but at the same time Id be def. open to options . Final grade : C+

Hotel and staff are terrific, but no microwave in the room and none available for guests to use. If you eat out, don't bring home any leftovers, can't warm them up!

We were pleasantly surprised the hotel this is much nicer in person than what is shown online. It was modern, updated and very clean. After reading all of these reviews, I was worried about the parking situation, especially since I had a larger vehicle. But it wasn't so bad since I was able to park on the upper level....parking spaces are much larger and easier to maneuver. The rooms had a nice scent when you walk in, not stuffy at all. Our favorite part were the beds. They were so comfortable. Loved the spacious and clean rooms! I highly recommend and will definitely book again!

Staff was very accommodating and acknowledged our separate requests. The pool is small but accessible until 11 PM. The gym is tucked away in a very discreet area, by the pool, which I appreciated. The property bar also had a happy hour, and the bar staff was just as nice and accommodating as the rest of the team.
What I liked most about this property is that parking feels safe and the check-in process was smooth. A couple of tips for future guests: unload your luggage at the lobby area first, as there are only two parking levels—lower and upper—and the only entrance to the rooms is through the lobby.
The rooms were just as presented in the pictures, which was a plus. Note that breakfast is not included and costs $20 per person. Parking is $35 per night. These fees may be listed in the property description, but they’re easy to miss when you’re quickly scanning through room options.

The hotel and staff was great very clean. The only downfall every time I looked outside my window. All I saw were homeless people smoking crack and sleeping on the sidewalk below..
