We were on a budget so the nightly price was decent for the property location. However the building and its grounds were a slight eyesore and very outdated. The pool and hot tub were broke and our room had a slight musty smell but seemed clean for the most part, it just had some minor defects and a lack of wall outlets (outdated). Despite the flaws, our beds were decently comfortable and the room was quiet.

Super convenient location, outdated everything, pool was closed. Room had no towels, window was wide open but the ac was running.

We checked in around 10pm and upon entering the room discovered 1 light worked. We had to stumble in the dark to get it on. The one over the TV and the lamp by the fridge were not working. We put our sodas in the fridge and the froze overnight. The bathroom was filthy with severe rust and water stains above the shower and toilet (we have photos). Cockroach's in the bathroom made me leave my shoes and socks on all night. When I brought the problems to the front desk, the woman just shrugged and said sorry. Almost $200 for a terrible night!!!!!!!

No breakfast available, rooms Safe box not working, main entrance door not locking, AC very noise. Motel is warned down, old.

This place is in desperate need of an update. Very old and outdated. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed, however office is only open 7am-11pm. I came back at 11:05 to find my keycard had deactivated and I had no way to get into my room. Thankfully a friend down the road had a couch I could crash on. This was the cheapest option in town, and I didn't expect luxury...but definitely would not stay here again unless they updated the rooms, mattresses, and especially the lock systems on the doors.

I saw a roach in the bathroom

Loved this place. Os tayed last year and pool was open. Thisbyear it wasnt when I went in May. So thats why I chose it again. I mean it could use updating but staff kind and serves its purpose. I asked a late checknout cuz when to hike a high peak and came back late. They were kind to let me late check out.

Was resonably priced. Room was clean, bed was comfortable Slept as well there as I would of at places in Lake Placid charging 200+

There was a nice, clean room that was roomy for the three of us. The only item that seemed to be lacking was no breakfast was available, but there was a coffee maker in the room. The girls at the main desk were nice and friendly.

We were on a wing it trip we drove to where we got tired and this place was very well priced and nice! It was also out of the way of the busy streets

Clean room and quiet. Close enough to town and to hiking options outside of town. Priced right!

Its good for short stay

The toilet couldn’t flush. I was moved to 3 other rooms but all of them were dirty, therefore I came back to stay in the room that couldn’t flush, and the room locking has issue.

The receptionists are friendly. Aside for that, absolutely terrible... there is mold in the room!!!!! The sheets and all looked like they weren't even washed the room had no microwave, nothing but 1 towel and 1 wash cloth, the beds are hard and very uncomfortable, also, no wifi (when we were suppose too.... Its dirty, and has a musty smell to it... another disappointment, they do not provide breakfast or anything food wise, only coffee, which was disgusting as well! Also, the pool and spa is shut down. I just couldnt believe the whole thing! Very very disappointed, and would not recommend this place.

Simple, don't expect anything.

Filler valve on toilet was shot. Had to flush by filling the tank up with the ice bucket. Outside door would only latch sometimes. Door was left open by cleaners while we were out. Brought issues to the front desk and was told that we would get a discount by one worker and that a note would be left for a manager by another. Place was booked, so no other rooms were available. Needless to say, no concessions were made by management. Why would they? They made their money. Also, just stop saying you have a pool. Im willing to guess that there really arent plans to reopen it. Won't stay again.

Good place to crash for the night. Clean and comfortable.
