We checked into this hotel and were greeted by very friendly staff. The room we were assigned looked like we had walked back to the 70's and the room had not been updated since. The curtains were half hanging on rods, the bed had all sorts of black fluff on it and was hard as a rock, the furniture was dated and a spare chair so worn and dirty you wouldn't want to attempt sitting on it. We have travelled for many years and believe our expectations are reasonable but this hotel was very out-dated and the photos they have on Expedia website are deceiving. This is the first time we immediately left a hotel and decided to find another that was more suitable.

The hotel is in an excellent location with good views over the rural landscape. The decorations are getting a little tired but it is still OK. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The one surprise that we had was that the only food on offer in the restaurant was local peasant food with no written menu available. The food was good but basic and we had no idea what it was going to cost us. The walls between the rooms are very thin as we could hear exactly what was going on in the neighbouring rooms!

Very basic hotel accommodations. Clean and simple. No complaints Mattresses are rather basic, would be more comfortable without the plastic mattress protectors.

Very nice hotel for the low price. Everything clean.

Very good for some real rest.The swimming pool was refreshingly cold despite the hot weather. Breakfast could be better with more local produce. Very well organised to meet the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic. Service was very good, especially from Ana, but at times it was clear they could use one more person to help.

Quiet hotel lovely views nice restaurant nice little town very tidy. You hear the cow bells and watch the cows from the balcony on upper floors.

Very close to Elvas and the Spanish border. Quite, beautiful surroundings. Friendly and polite service.

Hotal com bastante potencial, mas muito pouco cuidado em termos de manutenção do edifício e espaços envolventes, bem como muita falta de limpeza nas áreas comuns.

Un hotel rural muy agradable con muy buenas vistas al campo y al pueblo de Arronches.

Hotel disposant de grandes chambres spacieuses avec une très bonne literie. La propreté est présente aussi bien dans la chambre que dans la salle de bain. Le petit petit déjeuner propose une large selection de produit avec un gâteau portugais au top. Le personnel est très souriant et prend le temps de répondre à nos questions.

Lo único complicado es el camino desde Badajoz, es mejor ir vía Elvas (primera salida por la autovía) La estancia genial, sobre todo los trabajadores muy atentos, amables, servicial, cordial y digno de mencionar porque atendían a todo (camarero, recepcionista, informando de las rutas, explicando las instalaciones, todo) Una asombrosa alegría por su trabajo tan completo.

Esta todo correcto muy normal pero una cama se le notaban los hierros del colchon y no esta cuidada cono tiene que ser ,ahora si ,para el precio y estar de pasada esta bien ,desayunamos bien habia de casi todo para el desayuno.

Agradavel, unidade hoteleira com enorme potencial mas com defice de atendimento/pessoal, que se traduz numa atmosfera de fraca qualidade de atendimento/serviço, incluindo o pequeno almoço que é Básico.

Apesar do local ter potencial para ser fantástico, a falta de cuidado na manutenção, limpeza e segurança fazem com que não queira voltar. Colchão com molas a sair do pano que se cravam nas costas. Toalhas esfarrapadas. Áreas comuns sujas, lixo pela relva fora, area de piscina sem qq cuidado, enfim.

Excelente quarto. Limpeza excelente. Boa piscina e boa zona de piscina. Atendimento simpático.

Local muito sossegado e organizado. Pequeno almoço dentro das espectativas. Recomendo.

Lugar muito tranquilo, nossa estadia foi bastante agradável.

Been there before, nice clean rooms and a good restaurant for dinner. Price worth.
