Rydge's Resort had a very warm and inviting atmosphere. We were upgraded to a Villa, fabulous! It has plenty of dining options and the buffet breakfast was superb, catered for all our dietary needs. Would definitely stay there again.

Always a great place to stay when visiting the Hunter. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are lovely and the buffet breakfast is amazing, offers a large variety of food & drink options.

I stay at this resort annually and I must say I was disappointed this round. Upon arrival I did not have a hard copy of my credit card as it was fraudulently used the week prior. I had contacted the property prior to arrival to be told ‘not a problem’. Upon arrival I was told I MUST have the card or the cards number. The male manager was unhelpful and rude! I told him that I had spoken to someone on Friday and that it wouldn’t be a problem since my room was already paid for in full. He did not offer any solutions. I told him that I was willing to pay cash if needed for security. He took the cash, no apology, just rudeness. I was so cranky. Upon arriving to my room there was no portacot as per written request. It seemed things were just not right this trip. Admittedly it’s the first time I stayed on the first level to the right with the rooms that have the small yard area. This was great as I have small children and they could safely play just outside the doors. The children’s play area is great. The merry go round, train and Ferris wheel are always fun. The staff also who run these are friendly and helpful. My children loved the chicken coop and train tour of the property. Restaurant downstairs has gone south. Not sure if it’s had a change in hand but we found it overpriced for the quality of food. It ended up being a lovely 3 days annual stay, just rocky at first.
