Inn on the Lake

Front desk staff consisted of one person. Not very friendly. Tried to have a conversation with her but she was pretty much non-responsive. The room was large and spacious which was probably the only thing that I can give it four stars for. The shower was extremely noisy. It's screeched at almost ear piercing sound levels. There must be air in the pipes. I had to stop the shower and get out it was so noisy. I tried changing the water but it didn't work. The floor in the room is carpeted and it was fairly dirty. I was in my sock feet and I walked on things the number of times. Maybe they're using an old vacuum and it's not doing a good job of sucking up the dirt. With it being winter I'm sure salt is being tracked through. The light on the heat pump glares in your face at night time. If I turned over that light was coming right into my face. The fridge, as nice as it is to have in the room, was also very noisy. It was rattling most of the night. I open the door a couple times to try to adjust it but it didn't stop. The inn on the lake is a bit of a historic property. It's been there for a long time. It's been renovated several times but it's starting to show its age again, it's very dated. The sink in the bathroom is stained yellow. I stayed on a Monday night and booked through Expedia at 170 per night plus tax and hotel fees. I don't feel that it lived up to its $200 value.

Our stay was good. Restaurant and Pub were not open which was disappointing.

Lovely old hotel but the restaurant was closed so no dinner or breakfast. Coffee and muffins were provided. No elevator nor personnel to help take luggage up or down the stairs.

This place seems to be going downhill in cleanliness. Ive always stayed here when i travel for work, had issues 4 stays in a row with dirty room and was told 3rd time Manager would contact me which never happened. Jim at front desk gas always been excellent but will probably stat somehwere else next trip. Clean your jet tub before you get in it so you dont end up on antibiotics for 2 weeks like me.

Ive stay here many times, one of my favorite places to stay while im working. The past 3 months its been nothing shy of problems, mold in showers, dirty jacuzzis. I got a really bad infection from one of their jacuzzis 2 months ago and have been cleaning them myself before i get in ever since. Was told the manager would contact me after last chalk mold shower stay, never heard a word. Just did a 2 night stay in which the second night i paid $180 for a basic room. Had to add bleach and tabs for an hour before i felt comfortable entering the tub. Very gross. I know Jim at front desk is getting tired of the issues i encounter seeing as how i stay so often. I usually get the deluxe rooms and first time getting basic room. Seems this place is going downhill in cleanliness.my cats stay in my car when not freezing because only dog friendly. Manager Chris you have my number, something is not right. Might consider staying somewhere else from now on.

Food was great staff were amazing. Little issue and solved no problem my next stay ! Highly recommend the jacuzzi rooms

Unfortunately the power was off because of high winds so all food services for the evening were canceled. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable but we had a jacuzzi right next to the bed which was unexpected. It had a bit of a musty smell. The staff were outstanding though, very pleasant. Obviously the power situation was out of their control but it did come back on and our room was comfortable.

I contacted the Inn in advance to make sure no issues when my wife and her two friends checked in as I booked the Inn for them. The receptionist told me that it was ok because it was prepaid. When my wife arrived with her friends she was given a hard time by a not so friendly different lady working the desk. The person that first spoke to me on the phone was also present at the time of check in and was confirming she told me everything was ok. If it’s “policy” to fill out forms in advance as the Second Lady claims then, the lady answering the phone should have communicated that and been aware of that policy herself to avoid my wife given a hard time at check in. The second older lady was not friendly and had a terrible attitude. This was suppose to be a fun Xmas celebration and night away from kids which my wife never gets. We will never stay at this Inn again. Very disappointed.

The room was ok. It seemed old and dated and we are not fans of carpeting.

Had a great stay and the room was excellent. Also the food was amazing and top tier service
