Conveniently located and situated in central downtown. Everything is walkable or easily accessible by transit. Hotel was in excellent shape with all necessary amenities, which made our 3 day stay feel like home away from home. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, buffet was tasty with a wealth of options for guests to choose from. Only two things to note was the room safety lock for the door was broken. Also, the mental door stopper on the ground is not the best placement as you're constantly hitting your foot on it when accessing the armour. Overall great stay and experience at Novotel Montréal! We would highly recommend and come back.

I do not leave reviews but this time I felt I needed to. The visit started off well with a very early check-in but it was mostly downhill from there. The room was smell and had a faint wet dog smell which did eventually go away by the third day. The bathroom was a bit of a disaster. The shower is backwards so you have to physically get into the shower to turn on the water and you cannot reposition the shower head so you get wet. Not a problem if it’s for yourself but when you’re trying to turn it on for your kids that’s a problem. Next the drain plug doesn’t come out. You have to flip it and sometimes it would flip closed so by end of your shower there is water half way up to your knee. Next, housekeeping only left two towels each day despite having 4 people in the room including kids. We had to request two additional towels each day and on one occasion we had to give back the dirty towels and on the second attempt they tried to give us only 1 additional towels and said they always leave 4 towels in a double room to which we explained that wasn’t the case. We get like they may have thought we were trying to steal towels. Twice on the visit the toilet became clogged. On the first time I called the front desk and before I could speak I was out on hold. It cycles through 3 times before I hung up and tracked down someone from housekeeping. Within 5 minutes a maintenance person came up to fix it. The toilet paper rolls are missing end caps so they fly off. I’m out of characters

Mostly positive. Quick check in and check out. It’s so close to St Catherine street with all the shops and restaurants. Close to subway and buses and very walkable too. Gym is great. Hotel is clean and maintained. Diligent room service. Had a very unpleasant encounter with a staff at the restaurant, would recommend to provide mandatory sensitivity training regarding race.

Great stay at Novotel! Exceklent location, close to all the shops and restaurants, and not too far from the metro station (about 10 min walk). Our room is spacious and clean. Amenities included Nespresso coffee pods (limited to 2 per day) and tea. The only con is no fridge in the room, unless you ask it to be unlocked and potentially charged for mini bar items. Appreciate having shampoo etc. in larger refillable bottles. There is parking attached for a daily fee. There's construction right in front of the hotel so it was a bit tricky to get to the hotel, but reception was very helpful in providing directions. Overall a great stay!
